Kids Love Chocolate and Bananas, this super easy Choc Banana Hazelnut Roll made in the Kmart And Sausage roll maker is a snap to use to make this tasty teatime treat, the whole family will love. Using very ripe bananas to avoid waste we created this Quasi Chocolate Banana Fritter just for the Sausage Roll Maker. Great How Warm or cold this is just the thing for a quick snack. We do hope you give it a try.

20g roasted hazelnuts
2 ripe bananas
4t nutella
1 sheet of pastry.

Oh my gosh, I think I might buy a sausage maker just for this recipe! My mouth is literally watering as I watch this video. The sound made when you cut into them is almost too much for me to handle! 😋

I know it’s a bit like a fry free banana fritters, without all the oil and sugar. It is soo delicious and I got to use up the last couple of bananas in the fruit bowl. Win win. Lol. Thanks for the fun feedback and for watching.;-))

I grew up with my grandma since I was 12- she is in her late 80's now 😍 bless her heart! She would always make banana fritters, maybe I could get her this hot dog maker as she still makes them till this day and I'm 32 now 😀

I’d be looking at the Kmart website to check for stock. They are very popular. The demand is greater than the supply at the moment.;-))

That you Lucy, it’s a bit like a banana fritter only better, it’s lovely with just the banana but the Nutella really makes it. Glad you like it. McDonalds here in Australia has a Caramel Banana Pie at the moment. I’ll definitely have to make one of those. Thanks for watching.;-))

I’m glad you enjoyed the recipe Wood Stream, it’s obviously an autocorrect but I’m baffled by coding yoghurt. Did you by chance mean coconut yoghurt or is there some type of yoghurt out there, I’m unaware of??? Hmm. Thanks for watching.;-))

Ah query solved. I’ve heard sleep is over rated, my fellow insomniac lol. I get most of my inspiration in the middle of the night. Excellent , I have no experience with the Aldi one but I have heard they are either the same or very similar to the Kmart one. You should have lots of fun with it. I havent had a fail yet. I’d love to hear what you think of it. Thanks for watching.;-))

May I know what brand of puff pastry are you using? Mine is a bit smaller widthwise in the Anko sausage roll maker.

Thank you very much for your question. I don’t use any particular brand. I prefer Pampas but some shops don’t stock it. I have used Gluten free from Woolworths but it is expensive and not always in stock. During my lockdown I bought what I could, when I could. I have used Coles and Woolworths home brand, Borgs has good puff pastry but I am very disappointed with their short crust pastry. It’s very hard and leathery. I don’t know what shortening Aldi uses in theirs but it is my least favourite flavoured puff pastry. I have made home made but it is very time consuming and not nearly as convenient as the ready made products. I am aware that some brands aren’t exactly square and consequently fit one way better than the other. When thawed it will gently stretch to shape and fit the sausage roll maker better if required .
