ANOTHER golden little tip slipped in with everything else, dampening down the bench before you put your cling wrap down. Thanks for sharing your wisdom! Little tips like that are one of the main reason I love watching cooking videos.

I liked the idea of the compound butter inside the ground chicken. I don’t think I have a pie maker but I could use a muffin tin to cook the little balls. Thanks for the recipes.

You most certainly can Joelle, make sure your oven is nice and hot, you don’t want your delicious butter to ‘escape’. Richo and I hope you and Perry are keeping safe, well and healthy. This are terrible times but it’s good we can stay connected and care for each other , all be it from a distance. Canada is very much in the news down here at the moment after the tragic events yesterday. Our sincere condolences and prayers go out to the families and friends of the victims, as well as all North Americans, who have had evil visit their doorstep. You have been a good friend to us over the years and we hope your family and friends are never affected by any of these awful current events. Stay healthy and thank you for watching.;-))🙏🏻

Thank you Dianne, we have quite a few crazy Pie Maker recipes coming soon. Pie makers have gotten so much cheaper than when I bought mine and I generally used it in the cooler months but We have been having lots of fun using it for all sorts of things. I hope our recipes will give other pie maker owners the inspiration and the confidence to try our recipes and lots more. Maybe even give people an unbiased review of just some of the capabilities of these inexpensive appliances and whether they may find them useful in their kitchens. I think they would be invaluable for kids at university, college or people boarding in rooms where they have no access to ovens and want to make an easy inexpensive meal for themselves. These are also great for taking in a caravan or camper, especially when there are fire restrictions and you can’t cook outside or light a fire. Thank you for sharing and helping others to find our recipes, your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for watching.;-))

Well done Pamela cupcakes, there’ll be no stopping you now. I don’t know if your kids are into fish cakes but they are gorgeous in the piemaker. My 5 year old grand daughter ate 5 of my cheekyricho ones and she is not a big eater. Loved them and they are cheap as chips to make and no mess either. At least you know what goes into the things you make in your piemaker and it isn’t full of fillers and artificial stuff. Thanks for the fantastic feedback and if course for watching.;-))

Never tried Chicken Kiev before because it looked too daunting but this looks doable and I see now after watching how much you and your mom must've enjoyed it last night. Thank you so much and I'm really liking this pie maker!

You can do it! Thank you Tirzah, we try to make recipes everyone can make, sometimes the steps are a bit more intense but, I find a picture tells a thousand words and if you can be guided through a recipe and the person presenting it, is prepared to assist with ingredient substitutions and help with appliance information and gadget purchasing, then you are more likely to succeed in your quest to become the best cook you can be. Thanks for watching.;-))

Yummy! I'm so hungry now. Your family is very lucky to have a great cook like you in it. Thanks for this one, it's going in the pool room. BTW, I find it hard to get vege salt (Aus)

Haha, love the reference to the Castle, Darl. You do know you can make rissoles in the pie maker too lol. There was a time during Covid when I had a lot of trouble buying my old favourites…. Vege salt was one, puff pastry was another. I can normally get it in either Woollies or Coles, never Aldi. Not always where you’d expect to see it. Doesn’t hurt to ask a shop assistant. We always have it on the dinner table, it imparts a lovely flavour whilst naturally helping you to use less salt. Hope that helps and thanks for the awesome Aussie feedback.;-))

Thanks PaddyJoeCooking, this is the easiest method I know of and they cook perfectly with a crispy crust. Follow this simple recipe and you will be making them every week. I’ve been using an old sunbeam pie maker for decades and it gets lots of use. Never had a fail and sometimes I even use it for pies lol. They a pretty cheap to buy nowadays and can be used for so many different things. I hope you can get your hands on one, I know you will be happy with it. Thanks for watching.;-))

Wow Caroline, welcome aboard we hope you enjoy our food journey. You’ve had your pie maker for a month a not used it, there is no way I could endure that sort of will power lol. Stop reading this right now, unpack it a ‘pie’ something lol. We have gazoodles of Pie Maker recipes on our channel, been making them for decades (sometimes we even make pies in ours lol) and now that pie makers have almost reached celebrity status we have been receiving requests for more recipes. We are presently 15,187 kms from my kitchen at the moment and whilst we have had a wonderful holiday it’s time to return home tomorrow to share our recipes ideas, see our family, friends and little dogs. I will do a few more pie maker recipes for you to inspire you and help you overcome your nervousness about your new appliance.... a whole month..... I get impatient doing my unboxing videos lol. Cook something Petal and wow your family. I am having a great day and hope you are too.;-))

Can i freeze these please
@CheekysKitchen
@CheekysKitchen 5 лет назад
Yes you can, I would reheat them again in the piemaker for a nice crispy outer shell. You also make them and freeze them raw on non stick baking paper, making sure they don’t touch each other, once frozen solid they will keep for about three months and will be ready to cook fresh in your pie maker when ever you want. I hope that helps and thank you for the question.;-))
