"A bad burn" is definately an understatement. I spilled some of that on my index finger and went into shock after a few minutes, almost passing out. Ended up having a burn all the way to the bone, and could not use the finger for a month. So seriously: BE CAREFUL WITH THE HEATED SUGAR!!!
I was making candy fruits for a cake, and while I was taking some of the melted sugar out, it poured on to my skin. Out of instinct and because it was hot, I rip off the sugar from my wrist . It just looked my skin turned a bit pale and there was no blood, but twenty minutes later, I fainted . I woke up and realized I had a second degree burn 3.5 inches long and 2 inches wide since I burned and ripped of my first layer of skin. My left hand was basically useless for a month.
OMG i simply love what you do! i live in France but i grew up in england and you inspired me to open my own cake and dessert cafe/shop in england when i get out of cooking school! thank you so much for everything you do throughout your videos!you have a great talent!
I would substitute the peanuts for walnuts and omit the caramel, and make them slightly smaller. This way I can serve them as a Christmas dessert and not take any attention away from the other foods.
Awesome video! I enjoy all your videos. I have a brain tumor and sometimes when I'm not feeling well I'll be awake in the middle of the night and tonight i just happened to be, and at 4:15ish i received notification that you uploaded your video, so a bad night turned into a pretty good night. I look forward to your videos every week you're extremely talented.
With Jesus' stripes you are healed. Believe this. Please read the living word of God it will help you to have FAITH in all the promises God has given to us through HIS Son. I will pray for you.
i made this lovely dessert and it came out really nicely. I didnt have a spherical mould so i used cupcake liners instead and they worked out perfectly adding that awesome design that cupcake liners have. Thanks again for the recipe
thanks sparklingbeauty101 it actually takes me quite a while to come up with new recipes, then film & edit them. But maybe one day i'll be able to do more than one a week :)
I've always wanted to learn how to make chocolate covered coffee beans. If this interests you it might be neat to see chocolate covered coffee beans incorporated into a dessert!
Now at around 3:15 you said dont touch it or it will stick to you and leave a bad burn, that happened to me at one of my sleepovers. We were gonna melt chocolate since I had strawberries at my house, but we didnt have any so we just used tootsie rolls. I got burned and it atuck. When I washed it off I got a REALLY bad burn and now I still have the scar
Ouch, I'm sorry to hear that! Sugary sauces are super hot so I often try to mention it just so that people don't have to go through the pain that you did :/
I'm using my cousins account to comment by the way, she's the one who introduced me to this channel. I'm amazed of ur knowledge of food and artistic skills! ur a truly creative, think outside the box person! I really admire u & I bet u have inspired so many people!
A good idea for a video is you ask people what their favorite candy is and you can show us a cupcake and frosting recipe and then you put those candies on top :) (like you did with the apps and RU-vidrs)
I love your accent it's really cool! Also I love your videos they are so awesome they inspire me to do more things like this 😜 thanks for making amazing videos!
I really enjoy watching your videos, Ann! They keep me totally occupied and entertained during boring office hours! You do a great job and someday I look forward to making some of them.
OOOOHHHHH this looks soooooo goooood! I love peanut butter soooo much! I live with my mom, Dad, and two brothers (house of 5) and we go through one of the huge jars of plain creamy peanut butter and one regular sized jar of dark chocolate peanut butter every week!
i had something similar at this restaurant calle "ask italian" when i was with my grandfather in lincoln. it was an amazing chocolate fondant cake (not fondant icing, it is a chocolate cake with a soft middle) with a scoop of ice cream covered with a chocolate dome that had warm caramel sauce poured over it. the caramel sauce barely every melted the dome like it shoul, but the dessert was still amazing.
You: Now don't touch this cause it's hotter than boiling water. Me: Ah great now I wanna touch it! Maybe if I..... *touches from screen. Ow! Aw shoot how does that always happen to me!??!!
USE A BALLOON!!! It may sound silly but it works. Blow up balloon. Dunk in chocolate Up to Half way leaving the top bit of the balloon exposed. Let it cool and harden in a fridge. Pierce hole in ballon and let it shrivel down until it's easy to remove. Repeat to create the bass Place chocolate bowl on something hot.. ...and place on other chocolate bowl so it can create a ball. Simples 👌🏻👌🏼👌🏽👌🏾👌🏿
It's amazing seeing how much excess chocolate there ACTUALLY is, even tho it looks like there is none. Many people just leave it like that and it wastes so much chocolate...great tip ann!
This is an old video and a super bizarre question so I'm sure you won't respond but: why do you just have so much butter??? do you just have a gargantuan tub of it lying around?? or do you go to the store right before you make a video and just buy loads??? does Australian sell butter in larger quantities?? i really want to know
Bakers usually buy stockes from the place that produces the butter, its usually way cheaper than going every,e to the market and buying a kg worth of butter every time (they usually do this with other ingredients that they use often such as eggs, vanilla extracts etc)
I just made this for Thanksgiving. It is outstanding and everyone loved it. I changed one thing, instead of the peanut brittle inside I just put some chopped peanuts and put a chocolate mousse on top before closing it. Also when she says it is rich she means it!
