This is the best ever chocolate chip cookie recipe, filmed in my garden in Tuscany, Italy, with a little Italian lesson thrown in for those of you in quarantine at home due to coronavirus and keen to do some baking and learn Italian. Kylie Flavell Just came across your Channel. With everything that is happening around us, not knowing when it will end, if it will end. Seeing all the suffering and worries on people’s faces...not knowing how the world will cope with all these changes. This video has calmed me down and all the other 12 I have watched just today. I love seeing all the places you have visited. I have visited alot of European countries and lived in Italy, France and Spain. All extraordinary countries. It has always been a dream of mine when I left Australia to visit different countries with different cultures. Right now I have settled in north of Portugal. Such a beautiful country, the food, the culture but what captured me the most was the Portuguese people. When all this is over ( I have faith that it will end) you must visit Portugal. All of the continent from the north to the south all the way to the islands. You must let me know if you do. Thankyou so much for your hard work. Keep safe everyone

I'm new on this channel, I had asked you on a past video how/where did you learn Italian and how long did it take you to be fluent. Here today I got the answer to the first part of my question. Yes this video was a bit fast for me trying to understand you, so I had to pause and read the English translation when I couldn't figure it on my own. How lovely to be in Tuscany right now, the beautiful shots and (natural)lighting attest to that.

These cooking videos are such a blessing. The entire content you provide is truly amazing. For me it provides not only the true escapism you speak of but also rekindles so many memories of cooking with my British grandmother. No fancy blenders, beaters etc., , and beating egg whites with a fork was always a true test of stamina lol. As the lockdown continues in South Africa and I am unable to return to Canada, I am grateful for so many things and your videos are high on that list. Thank you and stay safe :)

After just the past few days watching several of your videos, I have come to a conclusion. There needs to be more people in this world like you! Your content is inspiring, creative, and vulnerable and real. The videography is stunning; not that I know anything about that (lol). But the way you construct your videos, it makes us feel like we are along with you. And, frankly, the places you film...many of us would love to go; it is so beautiful!. Your personality and way of doing things, and out look on life resonates with mine. I have to be honest, I saw one of your videos on Positano some time back as I thought that while they were so beautiful, they felt a little whimsical for me at that time. How the mighty have fallen! And a good thing too!!! I feel like one must have balance in order to maintain it - enough exposure to those less fortunate, some time in stimulating company, reflection in solitude, whimsical beauty so breathtaking that it realigns one’s priorities and a little of life’s cruelty to render one even more grateful and euphoric when the beauty returns.

Thank you so much for this. The weather has turned colder and very windy in England so to see the sunshine and flowers was great and I could literally smell the chocolate and the finished product. Every one of your recent Tuscany videos has brought me to happy tears. We are going to be ok. Thank you for all your effort to bring a little light into our lives. RU-vid recommended your channel and i am so thankful it did. I am an American living in Germany so I've never looked up any videos about how to learn Italian but wow what a beautiful language. I should give it a try. Living in Europe now makes me want to be able to speak at least 5 different languages but as an American I rather unfortunately grew up only having to know English.

I am nutritionist and hear people say all the time don't eat eggs, milk, butter and cream (ie cholesterol) Yet, studies show 80% of US citizens lack Vitamin D, which comes from eggs, milk, butter and cream ... The acrobatic microphone balancing paid off, that mixing bowl audio is molto perfetto! I feel like Im there, and the chocolate falling onto the wooden board, girl it sounds like you are next to me in my kitchen with audio like that! What I love about this video style is the replayability, not only do I watch it for the beauty but I watch it for the Italian and after many times when I feel I have it down, ill try the recipe speaking it in Italian to myself. I am supposed to return to Tuscany this September to cycle with a group from Canada. Italy and Tuscany are top of my list for food , scenery and lifestyle. This is incredibly helpful in learning Italian. I actually like thin cookies because it reminds me of my mother-in- law’s cookies. She passed last year. I came across your channel a few months before I moved to Italy myself. I am only here for a few years (I moved with the military) And even though I've only been here 9 months I have fallen in love with the country. I am so grateful to have such amazing videos where the beauty and charm of Italy is so wonderfully portrayed. Thank you for making all the videos that bring so much joy. (And thank you for speaking in Italian, I am desperately trying to learn the beautiful language and since I'm in the quarantine I haven't been able to listen to as much of it as I usually do)
