Hey! Im trying out this recipe right now! I just got done mixing everything together and I noticed my dough is very stiff. Making it hard to mix in the chocolate chips. I was wondering if I did something wrong in the process or if it’s normal?
@@CMDewey33 The recipe actually calls for too much flower (people in the comments of the earlier video were saying this as well). Try using 1 to 1.25 cups of flour instead of the 1.67 that's in the recipe and your cookies will turn out great!
I love that you put the ingredients in grams too because normally they don’t do it and I need to convert it , also these cookies are the best so chewy and tasty !

OH MY GOD THESE WERE AMAZING!! i managed to make 18 but I'm telling my mum I made 14 because I'm bringing some to school tomorrow 🤣 I did all the steps apart from because I didn't have white sugar, I used golden caster sugar and I didn't have normal chocolate so I used chocolate chips and it was still amazing! They came out gooey and soft and so I left them for 5 minutes after taking them out and they were still so gooey and chocolatey (: TYSM CARINA!! ❤️ I wish I could upload pictures to youtube to show u guys lol
This recipe was amazing. It was crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. I added 1 cup of flour first then I slowly added more in the end until I got the texture I wanted.
Just made these *but without the vanilla extract and i used chocolate chips instead of chunks and i didnt cool the dough for any time at all. however these turned out AMAZING i was a bit worried because the dough was looser then the cookie dough im used to but they turned out great! They’re not to sweet and theyre a little crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside just as promised! I definitely recommend these to anyone!*Note i also halfed the recipe
It's raining here today, so I decided to make your cookies. I used what I had on hand to add to the dough, mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. I chilled the dough in the refrigerator for about 3 hours. They are delicious and turned out beautiful. I like the amount of cookies this recipe makes and I will for sure be making these again in the future. Thank you for sharing! :-)

I just tried this and wow they are exactly the way I wanted! I've been searching for a good cookie recipe since such a long time I'm so glad I've found it! They are a little crispy on the edge and so goowy on the inside, a perfect combo!!
Aminata Diop i understand yes but I was asking if you used the spoon and level technique when measuring flour as other bakers and chefs recommended so that there’s not excess flour.
@@linalora3688 Oh sorry! No i didn't and it worked just fine so far. I've made them 4 times already and they were great each time so I don't think it's necessary
This is by FAR the best recipe i've tried. Other recipes would make my cookies turn out too puffy, too buttery, or too hard, but this has a delicate crunchy outside and a gooey inside.
Literally my favourite choc chip cookie recipe on youtube, and I've tried many recipes and from many leading youtube channels, and I'm not kidding, but this is by FAR the best recipe! And such a simple recipe too. Really highlights how its all in the technique. Thank you for explaining the reason behind each ingredient and method, so helpful, and not often provided in cooking videos, but makes such a difference when cooking. Loving this channel. Hi there, i made this following the recipe and it was exceptional!! Thank you. I used Cadbury dairy milk chocolate, dark chocolate and normal milk chocolate mixed. I would definitely try it with just dark chocolate though. Love from South Africa🇿🇦

I decided to use baking powder as I prefer a more cakey texture.

Idk what I’m doing wrong but everytime I make cookies the dough is really moist and wet looking and after baking the cookies they are really thick. They don’t spread out like yours. Do you know what I’m doing wrong?
I don't know what you are doing wrong but what I'd recommend to help is, refrigerating the dough for 30 minutes and doing 15 minute intervals of mixing the dough to get it evenly cooler. Also pressing down the cookies a bit with a spoon or your hand. If the dough is still quite moist then id recommend at least another 1/4 cup of flour to help it form perfectly :) and 2/4 tea spoons of baking soda to spread more.

Ira GL don’t use more than two teaspoons!! If you want a strong vanilla flavoring just use two. It will be very overpowering. However, if it’s not vanilla-y enough for you, use a vanilla bean instead. The problem with the extract is it has a slight alcohol taste, which comes through in the cookies if you use too much. Good luck!
Thank you for this recipe! I just placed the cookie dough in the fridge! Im planning to let it chill for 4 hours. 24 hrs is too long. Haha how long should i let it stay in room temp before baking?
I made these cookies and they taste great and I love how chewy they are. The only complaint I have is that they puffed up a bit more than the ones in the video. I wish mine were more flat and I used baking soda which was supposed to have them spread more. The flavor is nice tho
