Some other subs are unflavored protein isolate instead of flavored, or Carnivore chocolate beef protein taste good. Instead of almond butter, they also have powdered peanut butter. That's low in calories and fat. Never tried cauliflower or zucchini but sounds good.
I've Been Using Protein Shakes And 1 Scoop Protein Powder To Double Up On Protein To Keep Me Full And Use 6 oz To 1/2 Slice Mango With Spinach Lately Every Morning And Don't Use Banana Mainly Cause I'm Allergic. 🥗🥑🥦🥒🍊🍑🍓🍐🥤🍵☕
@@carolwolfrum9205 Okay, That's Perfect. Strawberries Work Well Both Fresh And Frozen. I Was Thinking Of A Shake That Consist Of Strawberries Fresh Or Frozen, Strawberry Flavoured Protein Powder 1 Or 2 Scoops. And A Cookies And Cream Protein Shake. 🍓🍪🥤😋
I just made this recipe and it's surprisingly delicious! 😋 The veggies add a fresh flavor, but it's subtle and makes for a healthy taste. Thanks for sharing, Dani. I will be making this often and sharing.
I did my first protein shake with bananas dark chocolate peanut butter with honey cinnamon vanilla extract whole milk whey chocolate protien powder and ice! Let me tell you it is BOMB!!!! 💯
WOW! I fell in love with it from the start. Went and had my dad taste and he liked also. Mom and dad looked at me strangely when I told them what was in it, but the taste is very surprising and very sustainable as a staple in my cooking arsenal (I also can't cook, so that makes it even better that I can get it right even with adding different things to it.) Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing.
This shake is delicious and keeps me full for so long. I reallly wasn't sure about it with the spinach and cauliflower but you don't notice either at all. I look forward to it every day. 🙂
I basically make this same shake but put in unsweetened Greek yogurt also. I like the addition of cacao and cauliflower. I'll try this when we get home.
Great explanation of why spinach is a great green that won't make your shake taste like salad. And I do the cauliflower trick too, I use half frozen banana and half frozen cauliflower to get a nice thickness while cutting down on the sweetness/carbs 👍
Thank you for creating another vegan friendly video, Dani! All the fiber in plant foods is just as important as protein but people often overlook the benefits of fiber.
Will definitely give it a try! Thank you! I have your green breakfast smoothie six days a week and love it!! Its delish and it’s helped with my weight loss goals. 😃👍
Merci beaucoup pour vos vidéos et explications ! Je suis française, mon anglais est un peu oublié mais j'arrive à comprendre car vous articulez bien ! J'apprécie beaucoup quand vous mettez une traduction en français ! Vraiment merci beaucoup 🙏
I’ve been putting cauliflower in my smoothies for a couple years now. It’s good. I use that instead of banana to make it creamy & to cut the sugar. Plus the banana flavour is so strong, but using even know the cauliflower is in there. I like that this recipe only has a little amount of banana
I’ve been making a very similar shake for years. I use frozen blueberries, 1/4 of an avocado and a tablespoon of chia seeds instead of the cauliflower and mango. I also mix with water instead of nut milk. Super yummy and satiating 🤤
Hi there, From my understanding, caffeine is a drug to avoid, an addictive and diuretic drug that flushes out calcium through urine, thus weakening the bones. It raises cholesterol; irritates and stimulates the brain, heart and nerves; and also taxes adrenal glands. Furthermore, it is also advisable not to consume fruits and vegetables together as this will reduce the ability to put forth mental effort. Best wishes 💙💙💙
THANK YOU, DANI! I've been looking for a healthy smoothie recipe like this one! Not only does it have less sugar, but it also has good fats and veggies in it ❤️ I am DEFINITELY going to try this!
Can't wait to try this chocolate protein shake. Looks so yummy. I always put spinach in but haven't tried cauliflower in it. Love your channel and your enthusiasm. 😀
Thank you for this recipe. I LOVE the fact that there are two veggies in it. I was skeptical because of the cauliflower but I am glad that I was wrong. I had kale on hand and it still tastes great and I don't like kale.
Wow! This is sooo good! Too good? lol I'm excited! I am also challenging myself to go through the day without Splenda. I use it WAY too much, in my coffee, Crystal Light and diet soda. 😬 So far so good, 1st cup of coffee with just 1 tsp of real sugar vs 2 packets of Splenda. Thank you for your recipes, can't wait to try more!!
I am just now seeing this 3 days after you uploaded it. At first I thought I wasn't subscribed. But it turns out that I am and that sometimes RU-vid just be playing me. But I can't be too mad at the algorithm since I watched a video of a dog whining at the dog sitters earlier that was hilarious. Anyway thank you for this recipe. I was told I needed more protein in my diet and had been thinking that a smoothie that's also healthy would help.❤
Boop....you're awesome...we do a protein shake daily as a meal replacement ...love your idea only we've never put cauliflower and we use unsweetened coconut milk and we put acai berry in ours ...love your channel. I'm 55 and retired, all about us now and our health. You are a great addition to our new health regime, thanks for being you. Do you have a book by chance ?
@@CleanandDeliciousDani you should consider a cookbook ..best channel ever. You are so kind, knowledgeable, present in a carefree manner and so relateable. Once again thoroughly enjoy you and your recipes, thanks for being you. My boyfriend Joe and I love watching and work off your recipes alot
I don’t know if I can mix with chocolate with greens, it just feels wrong lol! But a vanilla version sounds great. I’ve never added Cauliflower that’s a great idea, and I’m a sucker for mangos. I can’t wait to play around with this recipe, thanks!
I look forward to everything you post. I’ll have to try this. Would it be chocolate flavor enough with Cocoa powder and a simple protein shake like Pea Protein?
Hi Dani , I am excited to try this smoothie, but must admit the cauliflower scarces me a bit. You have never steered me wrong so this is a must try!! XOXO
I would not add as much cauliflower as she does, if I were you. It's very trendy to add cauliflower, I tried it easily a year ago, and I can taste the cauliflower, and it's not a good thing 😁😁! If I add it at all, I add very little. Maybe because she doubles up on the chocolate it's fine, but if you've never tried it, go easy, that's all I'll say! GL. 😉
UPDATE: for a simpler version if u dont have all those ingredients on hand; simply add knox gelatin and guar gum to your mixed up shake; (get guar gum powder in any serious health food store or on amazon) my recipe: 1 c orange juice (I use Oasis tropical passion) 1 banana; 2 oranges; stevia to sweeten; tumeric powder half tsp; knox gelatin half packet; guar gum powder 3/4 tsp. Important: add the gelatin and GG AFTER your shake is all mixed up; add them with half cup crushed ice as it will thicken promptly. THICK CREAMY FRUITY it will easily keep me full from 8am until noon or 1pm. I use an Oster 1200 watt smoothie maker; its all steel drive; $100!! great machine!! makes awesome smoothies!
*This is delicious but really can't add cauliflower to my smoothie. We have been at war for decades🙅🏿♀️. It will never work for me😅. I think avocado will be a better try. Thank you*
Love your recipes! My questions: do you ever use carob? Is Cacao powder derived from chocolate? I do have chocolate sensitivity and often use carob powder and chips as a substitute but they are getting harder to find. Also wondering about the nutritional value of carob v chocolate v cacao? TIA!
Hi Dani. Instead of Almond Butter can I substitute Coconut Oil for the MCT benefits? If so, would the measurements be the same? Can you use this as a meal replacement shake? If so, do you add additional protein? Thank you for answering my questions. 🙂
I would swap them 1-for-1. As for extra protein - it may not need it. I would experiment and see how long it keeps you satisfied after eating - if you can't get past 3-4 hours - try adding some extra protein.
@@jessamclaughlin1343 No they don't, and everyone is the same when it comes to satiety. Take each of those ingredients and eat it whole. Instead of the whey protein, have the same amount from eggs beef or chicken. And see how much more filling it is.
