“Barry coming in as the MVP of a Pass it On” was definitely not on my 2020 bingo card.

I feel like the candied carrots was James' version of a cloud egg

Today on Sorted: Mike curdles some eggs, Jamie eats the product, Ebbers plays with nuts, James makes it ginger and Barry doesn’t know what Parsley is. Standard affair

James: puts carrots into a dish Also James: only person who doesn't like the dish.

"This can disappear" *puts it in the fridge because no one ever checks the fridge*

Whenever I hear Ebber's intro music, I picture him entering the kitchen trailed by an assortment of birds and small woodland creatures like a Disney princess.

Ben: "But carrots are sweet" Jamie: "Yes; they also taste of carrots, Ebbers" If this isn't an insight into Ben's and Jamie's brains, I don't know what is.

Jamie: “You just like hiding vegetables in dishes where they don’t belong!” Ben: “So true.” Ben’s a dad before he’s a dad confirmed.

I have come to the conclusion that Ben generally has the best mindset for this sort of challenge. For example with the cherries, he quickly realized his error in picking a stone fruit that would need to be pitted, taking too much time, and it wasn't even the main ingredient, so he quickly changed course to refocus on chocolate as he should have. He is definitely the MVP of the team. And bravo to Barry on his stupendous plating/arrangement.

I love that Barry decided the dish needed some crunch and pretentiously crumbled whole digestives over it whilst completely ignoring the bowl of biscuit crumbs right next to the plate LMAO

Barry: "I'm just going to plate this dish as PRETENTIOUS as possible" James & Ebbers: "It looks BEAUTIFUL 🥺🥺🥺" I actually laughed.

I love that one of Barry's strengths is plating. He should go last every time.

i've been saying from the beginning of this series, put barry last that's where he excels

"there's a note in the fridge" - proceeds to ignore the note and doesn't even acknowledge a ruined pan that's in there

why was james’ “i didn’t get a carrot” the saddest cry for help

I think the best possible order is: Mike - Great with ideas, can set a decent foundation for the dish Jamie - Definitely can't go first but needs to be dealt with asap James - Can pick up from Mike, but will do some weird cheffy stuff Ebbers - Will mix the normal and cheffy food into a decent dish Baz - Brilliant at plating, not so much everything else

The look of disappointment on Jamies face when he found out they weren't his crepes.

I love how Jamie hides things in the fridge, cause he doesn't expect others to look there, cause he never does!! James bringing in Carrots has the same energy as Jamie making burgers in the first pass it on!!

I think that was Barry's best plating ever. I would expect to see something like that in a 5 star restaurant. Great job Barry!

I'd love to see the guys do a cheese-themed pass it on. There are so many things they could do, the panic would be great

Worst is James, but not for the reasons he thinks, just because he forgot where he was in line. Spot 4 needs to be solidifying the dish, not going off into wild new directions. The carrots didn't work, but he did make improvements. Next is ... Jamie? Aside from his crumbs which ended up on top out of luck, his crepes got tossed (even if he deserves his points for good flipping) Mike, for good intents but too simple, and no chocolate Ebbers, because Ebbers rules, and he REMEMBERED THE CHOCOLATE (and flavors and textures and realizing cherries were a bad idea, there is no dish unless he rolls those crepes - he's in second because he should've melted the chocolate himself). And (much as I hate to admit it) Barry, because that wasn't a dish until he made it a dish. Good times

1. Barry - Presentation was spectacular. Took a turd and turned it into gold. 2. Ben - Took a poorly executed idea and gave it a better direction. 3. Mike - Great idea from the beginning and did a solid job of getting things started. 4. Jamie - I'm convinced he did the best he could with what he had, but it just wasn't in his repertoire to execute properly. 5. James - I really don't know what to say. There was clear direction and elements that needed finishing, but instead he chose the throw in a bunch of ingredients that didn't belong and left a mess for Barry to plate.

This is why this team is so entertaining. Every single one of them is so different and has his own super power. Barry is definitely the artist who can make food look beautiful with his photographer eyes ❤

Loved the episode! I was so happy to see that Ben assembled the crepes and had them ready in his turn. I was like omg they might finish well here. But then Carrot Boy happened. LOLOLL

I was suprissed how Jamie keeps on task and James did a damn good effort trying to derail it completly, big change of roles for those two.

Also, jamie was so proud of his flips. And he should be. They were awesome!!
