Hi Cheryl, I hope all is well. This is a complex question because it all depends on boat flag and crew nationality, if the boat is new or used. In our case we exported the boat, having to leave the EU in 3 months. After we left you can re enter which starts counting towards your 18 months (for a boat with a non EU flag). For the crew if not European there is a need to leave the EU after 3 months. I hope it helps but I would recommend you guys speak to a professional to Better guide you. Best. Ed

@@SailingJoy Please double check. I looked for link for you & got mixed info... Some saying no, some say lifted restrictions. Originally, this week, they announced Gibraltar, Ireland and Austria into lockdown. Now, I can't find this.

@@moonovermiami9787 just received a note here of lock downs in Holand, and partial lockdown in Czech Republic.

We will go for the wingaker when we decide to cross the Atlantic only. Probably next year.

On our L42 we only have a asymmetric sail that was not even rolling but I am sure it would had been awesome. We are excited to have one now on JOY ! It will make a huge difference for us.
