Choir of the Fayth - All FINAL FANTASY X Aeons' Hymn of the Fayth Simultaneously 

The lyrics to the Hymn - "Ieyui nobomeno renmiri yojuyogo hasatekanae kutamae" - are jibberish in Japanese, but contain a word puzzle that can be solved to reveal the actual lyrics: "Inore yo, Ebon-ju / Yume mi yo, inorigo / Hatenaku / Sakaetamae." Roughly translated, the Hymn is a prayer for the Fayth to remain asleep and for Yu Yevon to grant prosperity.

Bahamut's version gets me every time. I think it's the realisation that this massive dragon and last aeon (story aeon at least) is really just a child

depending on how you decode the hymn of the fayth you will either get: Pray to Yu Yevon Dream, Fayth Forever and ever Grant us prosperity. or if you go thru the rather complex decoding process you get: Give your hand to me And close your eyes Let me cure your pain With a kiss on your eyelids Sleep now, be at ease Everyone's the same: their lost fears Wrapping up sadness and confusion, too I want to feel that strength If everyone realized The pointlessness of dispute, a glittering sun would rise Until that time comes, I pray. on a side note, I feel that when I sing the hymn I sound most like Ifrit.

Shiva's version of the Hymn was always my favorite. Whoever they got to sing for her was an excellent choice, she has a set of powerful lungs on her.

You can always make out Animas voice... The grief of a loving mother, turned into a creature of pain cast into oblivion, for the son she loved... Sorry for being a cry baby about Anima, I just love her voice and story

My baby loves all of the Aeons songs. It's her lullabies. 2019! She's 2 years old and we are listening to this on Bluetooth speaker in the living room and she's trying to sing along!!!

Im getting this vibe of a concert hall that starts with a spotlight on a dark stage where you only see 1 female singer that vaguely resembles valefor and then after every round another spotlight lights up revealing a male singer resembling ifrit and so on until the whole round is complete.

When Kimahri's face showed up I had a moment because I always pictured Kimahri as Yuna's most likely final Aeon, had she followed through with a normal pilgrimage

Their voices really do work in great synchronisation. Stellar work.

This is really well put together, although I'd say the best parts are the Valefor/Ifrit and Anima/Yojimbo duets at the beginning and end, plus of course the one of everyone together. Listening to Yojimbo after Anima goes quiet is especially emotional.

This is the first song that I ever learned by heart, and it's not even in a living language. Nor is X my favorite Final Fantasy. I love how deeply spiritual this song is, so that even one of little faith such as I can find some comfort in singing it.

Anima and Ixion's voices carry the melody imo. They're so much more prominent throughout the song. You can really hear them at 3:53-4:15. Deep voice representation

I am currently playing final fantasy X as of this moment, I just got Yojimbo and i was surprised at how beautiful his hymn was. I am in l o v e with this so much, the plot is so rich and everything is amazing.

the more powerful this gets, the more emotions the hymn gives me to the point i feel as though crying would be almost acceptable, since it could be taken as a form of respect. Respect the hymn, and enjoy it, because jecht lost the means to hear it, and it destroyed him emotionally.

I played this game and I never realized until now how much they invested so much in this game at the time. Graphics and animation (obviously), the stories and backstories, voices, songs and music, the illustrations. And there’s even a place in the game where you look back at the cutscenes and songs.

I remember playing this game when I was hella young and whenever I heard this song, I always thought it made Final Fantasy X so much more meaningful and interesting. It's definitely a nostalgic experience listening to this so many years later.
