Your camera work is impeccable. Beautiful! The churches are stunning. I have been all over Europe and most of the churches there are very dark and gloomy. These are vibrant and incredible. I hope to plan a trip to Mexico in the Fall. Not sure what area yet but looking at PV, Guadalajara, Lake Chapala or Queretaro, San Miguel de Allende & Guanajuato. Which do you recommend?

I had to laugh about the tour company leaving you behind! thats why I never use any tour companies - because I like to take my time and be on my own schedule. my favorite church was the 2nd last one - Templo de San Francisco - wow, so much detail on the outside and inside! I am someone who would stay in the town for one week. I dont get bored. I just live and enjoy the daily life of each place!

For a long time it was believed that mole was created in 1685 by Sister Andrea de la Asunción in a convent in Puebla, but researchers found evidence that mole, in its original form, existed long before. The true origin of mole dates back to pre-Hispanic cultures where the indigenous people mixed several chiles with pumpkin seeds, holy grass and tomato to create a sauce called mulli, which was usually accompanied by turkey meat, although duck or armadillo meat was also used and was served in ceremonies as an offering to the gods. With the arrival of the Spaniards to Mexico, new products were added to the recipes of the moles, such as black pepper, anise and cinnamon; in the case of meats, chicken, beef and pork were integrated. During colonial times, thanks to the gastronomic fusion between pre-Hispanic and European cultures, there was a wide range of ingredients for cooking, resulting in a great variety of moles. From pre-Hispanic times to the present, mole represents a celebration because it was and is the main dish in patron saint festivities, weddings, xv years, even in funerals, being one of the foods of pre-Hispanic origin that is still present in the diet of Mexicans and is a symbol of our culture recognized internationally and is an emblematic dish of the state of Oaxaca.

When you talk about the weather is not too hot nor too cold, so what month is it? Be specific, please.

I heard him say it was January. But I agree with you that all people producing travel videos should state at least the month, if not more specific date.

I came here and it was not really all that good like I thought it would be. The people are not too friendly towards people that look like me if you know what I mean..... There's not one single black person in that city and so because of that people would just keep staring and I understand that they're probably not used to seeing a black person in Puebla and I can understand that, so I would at least smile or say hi but they would not even speak back but they would just keep glancing at me and it literally got to a point where it was starting to get annoying. I literally just stayed in my hotel because I felt like I could not go anywhere without being looked at a certain way.
