The base of the Pyramid of Cholula in Puebla, Mexico, covers 45 acres with a height of 210 feet, which makes it three times the size the Great Pyramid of Giza and is featured in the Guinness Book of Records! It also featured on Netflix's Ancient Apocalypse. It has several layers to it that are believed to go back to at least 650 BC. Further massive constructions were built and altered over the centuries, before it was partly covered with ash from a nearby volcano. Hernan Cortez arrived at Cholula in 1519 and a great massacre took place when the elders believed he was the return of Quetzalcoatl. German naturalist Alexander Von Humbolt in 1803 saw a large jade statue of Quetzalcoatl that was once upon it. In this video we explore the newly opened museum, featuring a stunning CGI reconstruction and discuss the Olmec influence and the true history of this remarkable structure. I’ve been inside Cholula and on top of it. It’s an amazing place. Truly beautiful inside. I’ve been to Teotihuacan also and climbed both pyramids. The view down that avenue to the Pyramid of the Moon with the mountains behind is breathtaking.🐝❤️🤗

I attended Universidad de las Américas in Cholula and was profoundly struck by the fact that Quetzalcoatl is everywhere in the culture. Btw, for the first time, I can really comprehend the size of the Cholula pyramid after seeing the drone footage. It's difficult to see/comprehend the magnificent size of the pyramid from ground level.

May not be-there is an ancient mound complex in Pike County Missouri along the Mississippi River north of St Louis and Cahokia with similar shapes to those found in the Yucatan. Still buried under generations of overgrowth and trees. I have been investigating for several years, and every time I explore these areas I find more evidence of a giant culture capable of moving mountains. South about 125miles is an ancient granite quarry that is full of megalithic and monolithic structures. I have found granite from there (St Francois Mountains),around the Pike County structures suggested a correlation between these two ancient areas in Missouri. These areas are well protected by generational land owners and have maintained their original structures. Just north of Pike Co. is Moberly, Missouri-and ancient underground city has been found and documented near there. It appears Missouri is full of mystique

no wait let's LiDAR and look for tunnels under it and see the underground here. I think it's a really overlooked and underestimated aire, there's more than just 1 temple where there are temples. so we would search for underground remains. that were not exploited to holy death and ruined. all the al mamouns 😓

Not the biggest pyramid in the world, the pyramid in Xian, China is 1500' per side. Significantly larger than this one. It's 3 miles north of the Xiwu residential district. Great video though

Just because guiness says something doesn't make it fact- the pyramid is there and can be measured by anyone who can use google earth using my original description above. They pyramid is there, it's 1500' per side making it larger than this one by approximately 50%

@@MegalithomaniaUK Yea google lists it as the largest too- but they're not acknowledging the Chinese pyramids. There's hundreds of them in the area I mentioned and I believe the one I directed to is the largest. If you don't want to look it up on google earth that's your choice, but it's there and it's bigger. I dunno what happened to my earlier comment if you didn't delete it. There was no foul language so I know youtube didn't mod it.

@@olgaraffa1 Yes we went with two geologists and they both agreed it was not a man-made structure. If they chose to excavate the four corners of the "pyramid/Pointy Hill" that would prove it, but they won't do that.
