For those making comments about the masks, this show was played on May 12th 2020 during the covid restrictions from im assuming Mario's house. Edit: I am trying very hard to be respectful of everybody's comments but if I see any more politically charged comments regarding the masks I will just remove your comment. This video is about Chon and their performance and not about the damn masks!!
@@didihansel8516 WOAH HOLY CRAP!!!! I AM SUCH AN IDIOT XD I didn't fully read your username!! How is Erick doing these days? I'm a huge fan of his music and stuff. Hope one day to meet him!
@@GrippySocksEsqyea i knows about that stuff i started listening when lazy autumn released. I love the lofi project cause it still incorporates their writing style just with a much more relaxed tone.
This is such a wonderful gift for the Chon fanbase, had always been wondering where the video for this was after seeing their Instagram post of it… big thanks to that Redditor who had this and to you for bringing it to RU-vid❤️
@@gull8265it’s the band’s business and no one else’s, so that’s fine, but it’s just weird. They’re all long time friends / siblings, which you would think make it where they’d wanna make music together forever. So curious what happened exactly. Or maybe it was just pressure or anxiety from touring, who knows
It’s very bittersweet that I finally gave CHON a listen to midway of their hiatus… seriously my favorite instrumental band and I still bump to their music even if they might not be producing music as a band anymore…. Thank you so much for uploading this performance of theirs. Timeless music.
Just finished watching the Chon documentary that was released a few months ago, and now I stumble upon this. Freaking magic I tell you. I had tickets for the Hamburg dates in 2020 (show got canceled) and watched this session live back in the day too, it's incredible to be able to see it again, thank you
Thank you for posting this. Never thought I would see the full video after watching it live that day. The way they play Echo here is particularly special for me.
When I first saw a video of Chon, I was going through a difficult situation in my life, and his music was the only thing that brought peace to my mind. Knowing that it's over makes me sad but also grateful. Through their music they helped me regain my spirits and improve. I never got to see them alive but. Also thank you for your music.
Dude! Unreal. I was only able to catch a few minutes of the live stream and was so disappointed that it was never uploaded to RU-vid after, so this is a blessing! Thank you so much🙌
Got to see Chon open up for Dance Gavin Dance during their Robot with Human Hair vs Chonzilla tour. I participated in the Chon Q&A and they are the COOLEST dudes ever! It was such an honor meeting them.
oh my god finally i remember waking up late the day this streamed and i was half asleep trying to watch the whole thing lmaooo so glad to finally see this fully conscious
i will never forget this band. inspired me to learn the drums and the guitar. they will be in my mind when i die. this is my favorite album ever. what an incredible final send off
Mario and Erick are making lofi music under the name Orange Sofa now, if anyone would like to know. They're listed as the song writers in the bands spotify credits
@@tman1518 it is a massive bummer, I didn’t get really into them until around this time in 2020 but they’ve had a big impact on me, wish them all the best and I hope one day in the future that they might do a reunion tour and I can see them play live
@@frozenandchosen I've talked to Mario every now and again and he seems to be doing pretty good. Id assume they're all doing well hopefully. Same for me dude. Thanks for watching 🌴✌🏻
It's crazy how many people thought that at first. This was lost media for a really long time and I can't believe I actually managed to find it finally!!
