I had a first generation Ford Explorer. We called it the Exploder. Not only did it have a transmission that lasted less than 50k miles but the suspension was terrible suspension was so bad it felt like it was going to roll over at every turn. I sold it the same year I got it, before the Firestone fiasco.
Eh, people say lots of things. Some people just take one part of a whole and make up their mind with that instead of looking at the length and breadth of a human being. It’s sad, but I don’t go chasing after people who can’t be bothered to get to know me before passing judgement.
