Moin Heiner, Interesting Info since I am looking for such alternator. Unfortunately there is zero info on this new version alternator on your and also rapid power website. There is no Data sheet nor test reports to be seen. Also no info on how many units was produced already, failure rate and reasons. No parts and performance infos, nothing!! Also no infos about available pulleys, material description and various dia meters and pk 8,9,10, availability ?? Rapid power should make such information available public on their website. Assembled in Australia says nothing about the internal parts, i.e. used bearings, sealing methods, protection coating of the windings and so on. New products to convince customer to purchase a 2k AUD is not a small amount need a more detailed information for us. I am not an real expert on it but have at least 10 years experience with generators which failed in dusty conditions countless time from environment impacts and even failed while they was modified and specially produced partially sealed. Yes we have also capsules generator non water cooled and they work great, but cost wise they are up in the sky. So please please let them shed more detailed infos on their web page. My 4 cylinder promaster city has an OEM 160amp alternator. I want to run 50amp DC-DC charger from it. Do I need to upgrade? and if so what might be a good size and product to ugrade to?
