Lol, everyone with their finger doodling. They all probably weren't pianist and more likely were just tapping their fingers to the music to what felt right to them. I'm a pianist and I do this too sometimes though.
@@dmythica Lol, that's an interestingly funny thought, though I'm sure I didn't come out of the womb playing piano. It's taken many years of practice to play remotely intermediate.

Very difficult piece to perform, you zoned out the loud noise, did great on the dynamics, and focused on the beauty Chopin created. Amazing, thank you for posting.

@@nightmarekingprimalaspid6133 for people who don't play piano, memorizing looks harder. but when you start piano, you realize that our hands are really good at memorizing and it's not that difficult to memorize
@@pendoravo417 Muscle memory, a great thing. Not even dementia can beat muscle memory. I have a coordination disorder which makes daily basic movements harder but I can play the piano better than tying my shoes. All because I memorize the notes with my hands. Also have an ear for music, I can play any song by ear but I got to practice that a bit more.

The red guy and the guy with the bag are definitely pianists, and they definitely know the whole piece. Their hands are so accurate in the motion, and they were legit on the right rhythm. You can literally see the guy with the bag knowing when the piece ended

06:44 that sleeping kid when grow a little older "mom, i wanna be a pianist... i don't know, since i was little i had this Chopin ballade on my head and i just don't know why. To be a pianist might be my destiny after all" 🗣🎹
Ha ha. Well good for you. Beside tectinical issues such as long fingers for the legato octaves- there are lines which neede hours by hours to practice in order to do it right. Especially the last 3 pages.
The guy in the red shoes and black & white striped shirt on the left, when the piece reaches the coda (7:06) he starts smiling cause he knew shit was gonna be epic AFFFF :D, wonderful performance!!!
Congratulations to the young pianist for performing one of the most beautiful and most difficult pieces in the piano repertoire!! ... Chopin completed the composition of this piece when he was just 25 years old!! ....
I just want to say I have probably rewatched this rendition legitimately over 100 times, something about public performances of these classical masterpieces just makes listening more enjoyable than typical concert-like performances of them (although those are great too) getting to see the average person where some people may recognize the piece while others just admire the performance and sound that they were hearing among the chaos. I truly thank you for uploading this, probably my favorite piano cover on youtube not even exaggerating.
Dear Melolina 7097: The standing one should be, with a refined level of appreciation, he will not fall into bad company. With the rap music -- you nah want that.
Not necessarily sad, while this is a beautiful peace, people don't quite understand just the difficulty level of it, compared to River flows in you which is comparitivly no where as dificult to this piece, but it calm and soothing and easy to the ear. But I understand where you are coming from.
No need to put down yiruma's work ! He's a great pianist and river flows in you is amazing. Wake up music is not about difficulty even if i love chopin's masterpiece
I shed tears every time I hear this piece. First heard it in a Music History class in college, we watched Vladamir Horowitz play it and I was completely mesmerized. I always come back to this piece when I just need to feel music straight to my soul. This was masterfully played, and in a loud, busy airport no less. Glad some people had the time to stop and watch you play. If it were me there, I might've missed my flight 😂
I as a beginner pianist, couldn't bring myself to just walk past someone playing a piano like that. Then again, not everyone likes music from the romantic, or classic era, ... . I still think it should be appreciated a bit more these days, but hey, you can only really appreciate these kind of things once you are involved in the topic, or know more about it, and not everyone is interested in piano, or music in general.
I cried all the way thru this. Here we have this beautiful young man playing one of the greatest pieces of music ever written and there is too much noise and commotion to hear it well. Bravo to the pianist for his concentration!
Dear Chevy Chase: Proper micing would be a boon (wonderful). Performing for RU-vid, find a piano, chop off the middle man (manager) and muster views, subs, and clicks, -- and he'll be well on his way to *making good bread* from social media tech.
心の琴線に触れ涙が出ました。 動画でここまで涙が出たバラード 第1番ト短調23は初めてです。 是非、いつの日か生演奏を聴いてみたいです。 It touched the strings of my heart. Ballad No. 1 in G Minor 23 is the first time I've cried so much in a video. I cried many tears. I would love to see a live performance.
This is a young man with substance. What a decaying culture we’re experiencing around the globe when something as amazing as this performance can go relatively unnoticed. Bravo to this gentleman!
“Relatively unnoticed!?” Dude there were like ten people watching him at the end and those were only the ones we could see there were probably more as the boy bowed to someone off screen.
Wow, I was enthralled by his playing and the music. Even with all the noise and the people moving about; I was not distracted; instead I enjoyed watching all of them. The music, for me, matched the mood of the airport and the busy people, it was as if a scene from a movie. I was not bored a second. Awesome playing, Keep it up!!
one of the, sure. but there are also sonata in b minor from liszt, beethoven's late sonatas and appassionata in piano literature alone that rival this. not even mentioning the countless symphonic and violin works from various composers.
I started learning it a week before the lockdown and I can play it perfectly till 4:20 , but it's been almost 2 weeks I'm blocked at it. I don't feel like I m lazy but there's something tiresome in those chords and I demotivate quite fast
@@rowanwild8445 omg im uo to the part after this with the diminished regression, i can relate so many notes so difficult to push through it. where r u up to now?
