1:16 this will always be the most underrated moment in One Piece to me, Luffy who has, throughout the entire series to this day, has beyond an obsession for me meat, especially when he's hungry. Here, though, the moment he sees Nami is doing better he doesn't even hesitate to stop to check on her.
@@takizeppeli3187 probably because they are the main guy and main girl 🙄 honestly they haven't had a lot of interactions together in a long time. They don't seem interested in each other but if I was to be honest the only guy who might end up with nami is Sanji
One reason why I hate coming back to Chopper's arc... is that it never fails to make me cry buckets all over again. I literally suffered for 3 days not being able to breathe well due to clogged-nose from nonstop crying in his story. He's my favorite character of all, my special blue-nosed Doctor
I really like the way that Chopper is drawn here. His artwork just has so much character, the kind that says "Look at me! I'm everyone's favorite talking pet!" At the same time, he looks as much as a real animal as he does a fantasy creature. There's nothing cheap about his design. Even in his goofy moments where Oda exaggerates his intense feelings of fear or rage, Chopper never loses the artful wonder and charm that I just described.
The difference is that he ate the Hito-Hito (Human-Human) devil-fruit, which not only gives any animal intelligence that's on-par with any human, but allows that animal to turn into an all-human or half human form. However, it shares the weakness of all other devil-fruits, when it's eater is submerged in water they loose all of their strength and sink like a hammer. What would happen if a human ate the Human-Human fruit you ask? Well the human in question would gain great spiritual and philosophical insight, in other words, they would become more human.
Who'd ever imagine that after this initial encounter that Chopper would go on some intense and amazing adventures with the same peeps who tried to eat him 😂🤣
