I remember finding out about One Piece a long time ago after school. one of the most emotional backstory on my list. the saddest thing is, if other crew members in their backstories someone important to them usually dies or gone due to various factors and external parties, in chopper case he technically "killing" hiruluk himself by shorten his lifetime when chopper fed him with amiudake, i always cried when kureha told him the fact and when chopper realize what happen. hiruluk knows that and choose to blew himself to ease chopper's burden

Yep still crying to see this again lmao, and one note that I think of why he's drinking the "explode drink" because he doesn't want to make chopper mushrooms be the death of him so rather than dying because of that or the bullet he's killing himself which is his choice or in his hands English is not my 1st language I hope y'all understand what I mean/saying
