This is more like a Dune inspired space fighter game with all that 'whisper think' talk.

I don't think you can go backwards? But you can come full stop and just float.

Maybe if you could aim your guns backwards or drop mines behind you. But why would you want to disrupt your momentum by stopping and reversing?

Rite of the Hunt, my friend. Instantly repositions you. Basically does away with that typical aspect of the genre.

The game starts like this but in less that an hour you get couple of abilities that remove the problem.

An fps games are just a floating camera with a gun stuck to it lol

You complete missions, level up and upgrade your ship weapons and abilities

I've sunk about 5 hours into the game and it is entirely a spaceship combat game there's not really much of a point to walking around,, not really necessary

@@AU3Golden yeah but it would really make a difference if it had both spaceship combat and 1st person or 3rd person combat without having to be inside a spaceship. Something like being able to leave it and fight at a planet as the character who drives it.

That makes absolutely no sense. You don't need to walk around. This isn't some generic and bloated rpg, thankfully.

What resolution and fps in that poor garbage console? 900p 30 fps?

Mesaures with my eyes looks like 1080p, 30fps in quality mode and 60fps in perfotmance mode, but loosing some details.
