All of a sudden, I just closed my eyes...both the melody and harmonic lines are so bautiful that I caught myself smiling and crying at the same time. Thanks for breaking your neck trying to sing Brazilian Portuguese, which is a great, but hard language to speak and learn.
"... Ahh, você é de ninguém!..."
Beautiful version ! It's a very interesting way to reharmonize the song, especially at 4:17. I may use this idea for my own arrangement if you don't mind ^^
@alo216286 Kiko, thanks for your comment and your message! That's wild that you met Yeahwon on the train. This concert was a lot of fun for me, though my Korean and Portuguese is nowhere near as strong as yours! Great videos of you and your son playing guitar! I hope you check out my other videos of my band, they are just a taste from a record I'm hoping to release soon. Thanks for your kind words! Alex
PARABENS! PERFEITA NEM PARECE ORIENTAL POIS HA DIFICULDADE EM AMBAS LINGUAS.NEM SOTAQUE TEM. E MUITA VONTADE DE APRENDER ENQUANTO NO BRASIL HOJE SO OUVIMOS LIXO.
This is one of my favorite Jobim songs. Well done. However, I find the arrangement veeery slow and the use of voice very breathy which I don't like. In my opinion, that does not serve the song. But that is a matter of personal taste. And Paula Morelenbaum's version with the WDR Bigband is hard to top 😀
