The radio I just received (5/30/2024) had firmware version 4.2 (not the updated 4.5). SSB not functional, won't connect with my phone's Hotspot, won't install 4.5 though computer download (followed their PDF instructions, failed every time). It's going back. In my estimation, this thing is as big a mess as the infamous Eton disaster (BTW- this radio connects ONLY TO 2.4G Wifi, not higher- although that failed on a friend's 2.4 - so of course that was my first issue with the thing).

This looks like an excellent radio that needs only a few modifications to be the perfect internet/traditional radio. I saw on the OfficialSWLchannel that you are currently developing the "LC100." I hope that with the "LC100" the antenna, headphone and USB-C ports will be moved to the opposite side of the radio so they are not next to the tuning and volume knobs. Also, it would be nice if the battery compartment was accessible without tools, and that the battery(ies) are in common use (18650?). Another improvement would be the addition of RDS for FM broadcasts (perhaps a firmware update?). Additionally, the ability for it to record radio broadcasts to the TF/micro USB card (like the $22 Retekess V115 can do)would be a great feature. Lastly, the addition of Air and Weather (for North America) bands would make this the perfect radio, in my humble opinion. Adding these features may increase the price a little, but if you could add these to the "LC100", I will surely buy one. Thank you.

I have the radio and really like it. You can find reviews and get the pros and cons. This video here was hard to listen to. Overly loud voice on this video. It would be much better to have a real person who can talk normally.
