Chris Blount recalls his memories of the opening day at Lappa Valley in 1974 

Former BBC Radio Presenter Chris Blount recalls reporting on Lappa Valley's opening day in June 1974 - when unseasonably wet weather almost put paid to events!
Chris went on to become a driver at Lappa Valley, and has continued to be a friend and supporter of ours. Thank you to Chris for taking the time to share some of his memories.
