Noah Richer George Hill is a significantly better perimeter defender than Isaiah Thomas. Rodney Hood has length and height for his position while still being quick. Larry Nance Jr. is very athletic and can give them a lot of energy off the bench. The team got younger and more athletic and that translates to better effort and hustle, which is a staple of a strong defense.

LMAOOOOOOO I had to come back to this because of how much sports media switches narratives on LeBron. When this happened they were damn near doing cartwheels saying the east is wrapped up after previously saying the Cavs were the best at the beginning of the season because of "all the talent". Chris said Cleveland was “clearly” the best team in the East in the summer when they had Wade, Rose, Crowder, and Thomas as well and look at how that turned out. These trades weren’t about winning, they were about rebuilding the team. If they had championship aspirations they would have traded the Brooklyn pick.
