One thing for sure , if your the neutral fan you must be enjoying the conference finals , potential 7 game series incoming and can't wait. I've got Warriors Vs Cavs still , but wont be surprised if Boston or the rockets make the final anymore , the Chris Paul injury is big if he can't go game 7 because he's out game 6 it just changes everything.

i see warriors cavs coming too but i think the nba just wants a close game 7 in each conference finals, no matter who wins. thats what happened in 15 - 16, when 73 win GSW somehow lost to the Cavs in 7 games. lowkey fixed but they make more money if there are more games

The Warriors are being too nice to KD. They’re trying to please him too much. They need to go back to The 73-9 team’s mindset: Get Steph Curry the ball, and let him cook. Steph needs to get out of this “sharing”mindset with KD and go back to his unanimous MVP mindset of being a killer and a closer. THAT’S how Golden State beats Houston these next two games.

KD has scored well this series and is more consistent than Curry...but you're right they need to let Curry get the ball more, at least from the start of the game. When things get tight you CAN rely on KD to score from iso's or do whatever he can to bring Golden State back

What NO ONE is addressing is the fact that Durant "still" hasn't learned how to insinuate his size in the post. No back to the basket game - nothing but fall away jump shots. He is simply too weak. Lebron learned how to dominate in the post. Durant hasn't. 7'0" Durant being guarded by CP3 or Ariza is a joke. WITHOUT Paul, the Rockets are DONE !

His agility at 7'0" is amazing, but he is nothing but a glorified guard with ZERO post offense, which in this series is costing the Warriors. (It was always the knock on him with OKC, as well)

Durant isn't the same kind of player as Lebron. Lebron also can't destroy teams with mid-range jumpers all day long. There's no reason for Durant to try to be Lebron. Ariza is a great defensive player... always has been, and he played his best game of the playoffs in game 5. Obviously Paul can't contain Durant, but his shooting in the last game was inexcusable.

And that is his issue in this series in a nutshell. He can't make a difference on defense, because the Rockets have ZERO plays for any of their bigs - except for alley-oops to Capela once in a while, so KD can't block anyone's shot. Harden and CP3 only drive to the rack when they beat their own man and see an open lane or they'll kick it out to the wide open 3 point shooter. So, now you have KD useless on defense and relegated to shooting contested jump shots on Tucker/Ariza or Paul on offense. NO BUENO !

The reason GSW is struggling is that the officials are letting HOU defend in a physical way. This is not the "freedom of movement" they enforce during the regular season and it's not the style of play that GSW is designed to win in.

Am I the only one that just thinks James Harden doesnt have that fight in him. No emotion yesterday. We get you are shooting bad and if you guys are being blown out fine act scared. I agree. Harden plays with very little emotion, which is why he isn't a good defender bc he lacks grit. He's fortunate to have gritty guys like cp3, ariza, tucker, Gordon and Capela who all play tough. It's why he's struggled in the playoffs so far. When he isn't getting his 15 FT's, he falls apart. Great offensive player no doubt, but lacks the heart.

Bro did you ever watch Tim Duncan during crunch time? He showed emotion but its not even about the emotion. I'm talking about the fight in the dog! Those 2 are champions and have broke through. Harden has a terrible reputation in the post season. He's a ghost and when the going gets rough he shrinks. These next two games he can really prove himself but we will see

Showing emotion is just showing off. Especially because you’re on TV. Showing emotion like an outburst of emotion is just for tv. To be precise, you have to focused and not get too emotional or it destroys your game. The equivalent to him showing him emotion is how he posterizes draymond. He is just focused. Inside he is feeling all kinds of emotion he just does not show it. When he does show it, he complains to the referee. In the end of one quarter, he was seen still arguing over a foul call. He is all business. But I still don’t like his game.

The point that Nick was making about the Warriors is sometimes the saying less is more is true. Adding KD was good for that moment but over time its too much for everyone to breathe and do them. Inherently, the pressure of the original team playing together helped Steph and Klay become who they are. Putting KD in the mix takes the pressure off so they aren't relied on to kick things up a level.

The reason i want warriors to win is the style of play made by warriors. Ball sharing and team play. If you can share the ball with one all star or 5 all star it doesn't matter, its always beautiful to watch. If rockets win then we are going to see rise in isolation hero ball basketball play throughout the league which is cringe to watch. Warriors have to win to make people restore their faith in the soul of any team sport. #Dubs in 7!!

I don't understand why people thought it was a terrible game, This is a conference final, Huston know ball movement is what makes gsw great, and they doubled down on that a result is a scruffy game that is competitive, I thought it was an excellent game You really think you were gonna see reverse layups,mad handles and free flowing ball !!!!!! He wasn't clutch the last game. That doesn't mean he isn't clutch. He's been clutch about 100 times in critical playoff games in his career... how about you stop being a fairweather NBA commentator? Harden hasn't hit a 3-pointer in 6 quarters of basketball... is he not clutch, too?

He played on OKC for 9 years, and while he won a lot of games in the final minute, he wasn't always the guy who took the shot... that is a large part of why he left. It's backseat QB idiots like you who try to simplify every issue in sports to "he chokes" or "he's not clutch." Play 1 basketball game in your life before you start criticizing others... and don't tell me you have, because anybody who ACTUALLY plays sports, knows the "he chokes" narrative is for simple-minded retards! KD My Next Chapter This has been by far the most challenging few weeks in my professional life. I understood cognitively that I was facing a crossroads in my evolution as a player and as a man, and that it came with exceptionally difficult choices. explain "great game" to me when you look at the rockets. the played outstanding defense. but on the offensive end it was mostly iso dribble dribble bad shot. like, be real here. it was hard to watch..

It’s not KD’s fault it’s the Rockets Defense forcing GS to playing iso ball because of all the switching and they are taking away their airspace to shoot and their ability to pass and run the offense freely

There are a lot of factors playing into it, but definitely the Rockets defense and the Warriors doing too much one on one BS are the biggest issues. No Iggy is the biggest issue, though... he is the 3rd best player on that team, despite what idiots who don't know basketball try to claim.

C N lol I think Kerr forced the team to play Iso, when curry lead plays you see difference than kd leading especially when his shots are not falling.

Lieu K I don't think Kerr wants them playing like that. He looked frustrated the entire game. KD was trying to prove something, rather than just letting the offense run its course. We'll see a different team in game 6, and the Warriors will roll.

C N that was his plan, during a time out TNT played a clip of him telling Kd to trust his teammates and that shows that he wants Kd to control most of the plays rather than Steph which is wrong . Hope we get Iggy back cause the lack of experience in the defensive end is affecting us.

Lieu K I'm not sure about your theory, but I agree much of the problem is not having Iggy... he is not the 5th best player on the team... he is the 3rd best player, and he is the leader of the defense, and also an important part of the offense.

The Warriors are either throwing games and it's all a scam or in the middle of the biggest collapse we have ever seen in sports. No one watches these last games and thinks the Rockets are out playing the warriors unless you are an idiot or lying to yourself. The Rockets aren't beating the Warriors. We can't even tell what team that is out there it isn't the warriors. Be real with yourself.
