@@DualStupidity Would you like to be reminded about all the mistakes that you make in life ? Of course not. Nobody wants that. You're supposed to make mistakes to learn from them. If they sorted everything out, why should we still be talking about this ? What happened to them is nobody's buisness, only the people involved. We often forget to that they are people just like us. We shouldn't see them as "perfect". Everybody makes mistakes. You have to learn from them. This is all I wanted to say. God bless :)
Even though you are reminded about past issues, that should never be an excuse to lose it. People sometimes want to sensationalize crap that happened in the past, but not having the restraint and emotional intelligence at that time can just make things worse for any person’s image.
Robin is such a hypocrite, shes all "oh its time to move on the past is the past, but she was the one who kept bringing up his past during the interview.
they did the same thing to ashton kutcher. they told him questions then when they got on air they asked him about his ongoing stuff with demi moore when he specifically said not to ask. so he left. they got no interview.
brisky028 Chris Brown is talented guy and I can see why women find him attractive but his anger....he could have injured someone and, as for Rihanna, those bruises speak volumes!
Chris Brown is just a piece of shit, point blank. People stick up for him just because he's famous, even though he is routinely violent and has shown his true character over and over. No good person would beat and choke a woman nearly to death for any reason other than their own life being in danger. And he recently had another restraining order from another ex for threatening to kill her and punching her in the stomach. Fuck Chris Brown.
I realize that the incident with Rhianna happened a couple of years ago, but I just don't understand how people could say "forgive and forget". I understand the forgiving part..I mean its good for everyone involved, but to FORGET is another matter. He did something that was not okay and he can't expect people to be like "oh he apologized so its fine" about the situation, because what he did was horrible. He has to live with the consequences of his actions.
He's right, no matter what he does, no one wants him to have his shine. He's a talented singer and performer, I don't see why he can't be recognized for that. Its actually really sad, because there is only so much someone can take. Its like for every piece of success he gets, there's someone there to stomp on it. Not saying what he did was right, but I think its time people put the past in the past. In the end, GMA was wrong for bringing it up when the initial goal was to promote the album.
If he has "anger issues" then simply dont fuck with his past. If people brought up your mistakes that youre trying to get over , would you be happy? NO. Exactly
M K actually that is the anger. Sometimes violence is the response people with anger issues make. Why are people still trippin over this? this happened 9 freaking years ago RiRi herself moved on from this and so did Chris. Don't y'all think you guys should do the same?
"there were no talking points offered" but she said that there was before this and that he agreed to it? Old news anyway but it's funny how the media works
maybe if he learned to control his anger and not get himself into trouble like he has lately, maybe people wouldn't judge him as often as they do. i mean everytime someone brings up the incident, he has the chance to show everyone he's changed, but he keeps throwing tantrums, which makes it worse
One more thing: Chris Brown is in this industry by choice. He has to learn how to move forward with humility, grace and dignity. That means that even when people continue to bring up the incident (and they will); and even if he hopes they'll forget (they won't), he can handle it with maturity, not tantrums.
MY GOD, EVERYBODY CALM THE HELL DOWN!!! FIRST OF ALL, ABC NEWS PURPOSELY WANT TO MAKE HIM LOOK LIKE THE BAD GUY!, AND I LOVE CHRIS BROWN AND HE MAKES MUSIC FOR US, HIS FANS, HE LOVES US, HE APOLOGIZED TO US, WHAT MORE COULD U POSSIBLY WANT FROM HIM?! HE HELD THE ANGER DOWN BUT HE DIDNT MEAN TO PURPOSELY OFFEND US, OR HURT US, HE DID IT OFF CAMERA WHEN HE GOT MAD SO SHUT THE F UP ABOUT HIM!!! I'M ONLY A 10 YEAR OLD SPEAKING UP FOR A 25 YEAR OLD SINGER/RAPPER, AND HONESTLY, I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO MEET HIM CAUSE HE IS, AND I AM PROUD TO SAY, A TRUE ROLE MODEL, LIFE OF A CELEB ISNT NORMAL, U GET JUDGED EVERYDAY OF YOUR LIFE, U NEVER GET TO BE A NORMAL PERSON AND LIVE A NORMAL LIFE ANYMORE! DO U REALLY THINK THAT, EVERYWHERE THEY GO THEY WOULD BE LIKE "I LOOOOVEEEE MY LIFE ITS THE BEST" NO THEY WONT, CELEBS LOVE THEY'RE JOB..... BUT WHEN IT GETS TOOO MUCH, THEY BURST, AND THATS NORMAL BCAUSE OF MEDIA, PAPS, HATERS ETC. EVERY CELEB NEEDS ANOTHER CHANCE TO MAKE IT RIGHT AND WE HAVE TO DO IT TO ALL THE CELEBS, NOT JUST C.B
You can't get the world to forgive, forget and move on. If this guy wants peace, he needs to forgive himself and move on. Never forget, but move on. That fact that people asking about it (AND THEY WILL AND THEY HAVE THAT RIGHT) makes him bloody destroy a studio is proof that the only person who really needs to forgive and move on is Chris Brown himself. And then no matter what anyone says, he'll be able to keep his cool and that will be proof that he's a changed man.
It's not an "invasion of privacy" when you agree to appear on a nationally televised morning show, on a major network to promote your album. You can't kick a woman's ass, apologize, shed a few tears and then think all will be forgotten. Doesn't work that way in the entertainment industry. Chris, you got to grow up sweetie. You are a talented young man and you still have a bright future ahead of you. Learn how to handle the media, and most of all, how to handle yourself, and learn it NOW.
its not all his fault, if you watch the interview when she first brought the topic up he already showed by his body language that he was uncomfortable and didnt want to discuss the topic, but she kept on bringing everything back to the Rihanna thing. Like she started with it, then they went on to the album, but she veered the title back to talking bout the incident and continues to push the envelope, she was definitely trying to start shit
First of all are they really making jokes about it though? They all is just as bad then because you do not make fun of that type of situation. And all them same white Tv talk host be the main ones talking about how ignorant black people are, but they up there thinking that its funny and making little side jokes about CB. They all can take a seat. That black lady interviewer from Good Morning America knew exactly what the fuck she was doing. people wanna say its their job to ask questions and its just their job, well you know what then your fucking right, they been doing this shit for years trying to humilliate artis about their past knowing that they do not like to talk about it. he wanted to be possitive and move the hell on, cant anybody just get that through their thick ass skull? this is whats wrong with the world today. they all was unprofessional. I love you Brezzy. keep your head up baby.
who fucking cares if she knew what she was doing or not. The simple truth of the matter is it is her job to ask those questions and just like any other American if your boss asks you to do something you can either do it or not do it and risk getting fired.
first off Robin is so stupid to ask those questions about his past. Just let it go!!!!! He's only human and and people make mistakes sometimes!!! I support chris brown! Even when he does stupid stuff time to time!!!!!
the reason people loved him before the incident is the same reason people love every other performer, for their talent. there's been countless cases where his fans send death threats to celebrities who talk about the incident. If chris brown wasnt a performer, he'd be in jail right now. for crying out loud he sung a song about having sex with the same woman he beat 3 years ago: " girl i wanna f**** you right now, been a long time i've been missing yo body"
That’s a lie they told him they was going to talk about his fame just to get him on the show than ask them type of questions so he can get mad. That’s what happens he felt like they was joking about something that really could’ve fucked up His career!! I’ll be mad ash to leave this man alone god damn
we all make mistakes and learn from them. so soon or eventually he will get his act together. i mean he still is young. but at the end of the day we are all human.
What people can't seem to understand is that this young man is constantly being ridicule, judge and now labeled by the media for pure entertainment and ratings. And YES he brought this on by his own actions but as human beings there is only so much we can take before "pressure burst pipe" and I feel that he was at his moment. I admire Chris for his talents and don't condone his behavior... but at some point people MOVE ON! Hasn't he suffered enough?
Ok people seriously need to give him a break, he's learned his lesson, and the more the media brings it up the more pissed he will be, show the man some respect and back off, he's dealing with wayyyyyy more than. You think
they is lien cuz he wouldnt have never went there if he knew they was going to tlk about that and wen they kept talking bout wat he did at the end robin got a lil heated cuz she was like ok lets move on and well put it behind us yea dummie know u know how chris feel !!!!!
@MsChristian211 , I can honestly say that I NEVER get mad enough to destroy someone's property. If I get angry, I find ways to re-direct it into something that's not anti-social or that I have to apologize for. It's possible to control yourself. He is not even sorry, based on his "apology," for busting up the GMA studio. He's "sorry" he scared people. He needs to get his anger under control. He is completely out of control and he will end up in prison one day if he doesn't.
@MsCaramello73 you can never get angry enough. a lot of ppl have short tempers or react differently to situations. but he does take anger management programs so we should at least give him credit for trying and also for trying to better himself.
he kept trying to do that he said " This all about the ALBUM not what happened over 2 YEARS AGO " he kept trying to move on and she got the exclusive interview back in 09 when it happened like she didn't ask any questions about the album but " what does F.A.M.E mean " i bet she cant name one producer or if he wrote a song on the album
he was honest enough to admit his mistake. i guess despite the early prep, that his past will be discussed, he is still not ready to rehash the events. lets just talk about music then and leave the personals behind for a while until chris is good and ready to discuss.
She blindsided him & she dead wrong🙄‼️... Like she didn't catch a clue even though he was adamant about it being about his album, she intentionally kept bringing up his past‼️😑
It surprises me how many people say "forgive him! Everyone is human, and everyone makes these mistakes!" When, in reality, beating up women, throwing tantrums, and destroying property is NOT something most people do. 0____o Doing that kind of stuff is not a "human mistake" at all. Why are so many people defending such horrors? As someone that has seen a woman get beaten bloody- it is NOTHING to forget or defend.
I see where he's coming from tho. What triggered him was when she said 'Restraining order' and maybe he didn't want the public to know about that & he's human he over thinks. He may have thought even if he still tried to do positive things people always bring up his negative past.
@CoolDrMoney That's one of the best articles on the topic. The author did an amazing job being completely objective and without judging. She just spoke the truth.
@rachelx1129 I was a full-time entertainment writer at the time, so I had a front-row seat to the action. This is what I expected: I expected a string of celebrities to comment on how horrific this situation was, how sad and angry they were for Rihanna, how domestic violence is unacceptable in any context, how as a nation we need to condemn this and condemn it loudly.
@ChrisBrownsGirl17 To relentlessly beat another in a fit of rage is inexcusable, no matter who does it. Not even five years have passed. He has shown no regret or remorse. His talent should not excuse his actions. I believe in second chances. That means not having to spend the rest of your life in prison. Chris being welcomed back on the radio and TV is a huge slap in the face to anyone who has ever been abused. I refuse to stand for it.
@mvdiablo Yes I'm serious as a heart attack! I think ALL my comments were clear, concise and on point (including those in which I acknowledge that he's a talented guy with a bright future ahead of him). I never said he shouldn't be pissed, I said he should learn how to handle the media and how to redirect his anger. He has plenty of adoring fans who heap praise on him constantly.
What people on their own trying make the man (Chris) have a profile, and say he broke a window at GMA out of blowing off some steam; instead of that incident with Rihanna being an isolated one that could've been worked out.
Have you never made a mistake before? Are you perfect? Do you deserve a second chance? Do you need to redeem yourself to people you don't even know? Want to live for others not yourself? Who are you throwing stones at, when you live on a glass house yourself? Should
@sophienichelle , his anger management programs aren't working for him, or he's not paying attention. I'm sure they didn't tell him to redirect his anger by destroying property instead of battering a person.
@septembertoo There is a drum beat in the back ground and some synthisizer. He was informed, of what they would talk about, if he didn't want to talk about it he shouldn't have showed up.
Why pressing on the subject, when one is trying to avoid it!!! It's frustrating for him , he's there trying to promote his album, these people obviously don't give a shit about that. All they care is about. These folks were looking for it. Even the calmest person would've acted in the same way. People need to back off and stop judging. He's a very talented young with flaws, I don't applaud what he did , but who am I to condone him!!! He's young and has a life ahead of him! Keep your head up!
I get his anger, however, if it were me, I’d try to stay calm and expose the fact that he wasn’t meant to be interviewed about that. That’s more noble than noticeably destroying stuffs.
I don't think it should "pass" like they say. I don't think his actions, words, or felony horrors should be forgotten. I think the memory should still forever be there to remind him of what he did.
They say the tell celebrity's what the topics are going to be. And, he stressed he didn't wnat to talk about something that happened two years ago, but his albummmmmmmm concretely.
@amsaric ... CNTD 2... Curiously, I never felt fear for myself and he never struck me, an odd moral imposition that would not allow him to strike a child. The situation was barely tolerable: I witnessed terrible things, which I knew were wrong, but there was nowhere to go for help. Worse, there were those who condoned the abuse. I heard police or ambulancemen, standing in our house, say, “She must have provoked him,” or, “Mrs Stewart, it takes two to make a fight.” They had no idea... (CNTD)...
@Dygsdoll No I understand-maybe I may have used it in the wrong way but it KIND of suggests what she MAY like outside of sex or possibly what happened was a mistake during the process IDK. I think I may've used that ignorantly but I do know what it means. Thanks though for correcting me.
@amsaric ...CNTD 3... The truth is my mother did nothing to deserve the violence she endured. She did not provoke my father, and even if she had, violence is an unacceptable way of dealing with conflict. Violence is a choice a man makes and he alone is responsible for it.” The man is a Knight. It's incredible the kind of son he became being raised by a father like that... He should be knighted. Seriously. We are lacking these quality men in this world.
so if he knew it would be discussed, how could he be caught off guard? And he also needs to apologize to Ms. Roberts for the way he presented his immaturity to her in that interview, not just to the people whom he scared backstage.
Listen, let this be the last post on this subject. Its damn 4 years old now. Whatever is going on between him and Rihanna, whatever's been said, done etc. it appears this is Old News. Rihanna has admitted on recent Ophrah show that she still Loves Chris Brown and he's is reported to have said he loves Rihanna according to his crew, his boys! Whatever happens between Chris Brown and Rihanna, they are still young, life will take its course, if they're to get back together or not, its their life!
did the interview with Diane Sawyer that I hard a new found respect for her because she discussed in detail the reasons why she went back to Chris in Miami. This was the thing that let her fans down but she went through the process of discussing it for her fans which helped everyone to understand her decisions. I think if Chris did the same this could turn things around for him but to be honest I don't think he has the ability. He brushes over the subject as if it wasn't that big of a deal.
