Not surprised it took some planning Chris. Lighting is awesome. The green orange background lighting matches your thumbnails, so some branding there. Over the shoulder shots. Wide two shots. Slow panning shots. Great sound quality. You must have a good team and an excellent editor. We both come from north east UK too. Great interview. Chris Bumstead is an awesome person, as well as having one of the best physiques in the world. There’s a gap on RU-vid which I can’t believe no one has filled. My plan is in progress. …… ;-)
I must say, this is one of the best produced podcast interviews I’ve ever seen. Besides the pure quality of questions and the calibre of guests of course. Keep rocking, Chris!
I feel disappointed for the quality really 4k look likes 1080p Production location can be good place not some like metro looking place There can be good studio for podcast.
Chris is truly unique. One of a kind and living in his era is very enjoyable. It is great seeing him go from strength to strength but also remain so in touch with his feelings. What a bloke
@@CaseyJohn-ki8eo that’s really not true. You’d think that superficially but the way he articulates himself on this surprised me, and he clearly is a very smart, driven and entrepreneurial person.

Chris has without any doubt the best mindset of everyone involved in the bodybuilding industry. The way he talks and present himself and then actually walk the talk separate him from the rest.
Depends on who you compare him to! His kind of mindset is not rare among top-performing bodybuilders, it's just that they're rarely invited to this caliber of conversations where their mindset could really be highlighted this well.
His successful, humble, open about his struggles, doesn't act superior, emphasis on his family, well spoken. His a true champ and a fantastic role model 👏 👏

@@cnhan_fithaters will never cease to amaze me. Are you really this unhappy with your personal life that you spend your time hating someone on the internet instead of being productive?
@@ElAndresRodriguez when I pay I have to get the value as advertised by cbum.. but the truth is not like that...I can prove cbum's app is deceiving people with old repetitive workouts unlike cbum's youtube
I am 37 now and I‘m absolutely stunned by how „far“ both Chrisses are on their individual paths but especially how far Bumstead already got understanding himself and his childhood traumas at the age of 28. that to me is insane. I can identify with so many conclusions of his and i think many younger men and boys will be inspired by this and feel encouraged to begin their personal journey earlier. Guys listen closely to this, this is gold. Thank you for your openness. I would have never imagined you are that strong underneath all that muscle
I appreciate Chris’s acknowledgement towards his anxiety and his empathy. He is truly so humble and makes a great idol to young men in the fitness industry. I’m glad he is who he is and influencing young men in the right direction

I must admit, this podcast is among the finest I've come across. Aside from the exceptional questions and esteemed guests, Chris, you continue to impress. Keep up the fantastic work!
Full of admiration for this man as the persona he is. Humble, reflected, thoughtful. A role model. And besides a gifted athlete. Great interview. Thanks a lot.
Only 18 minutes in and I'm incredibly touched by the raw vulnerability and authenticity already. No, I'm not 4x Mr. Olympia or a beast of a podcaster, but the whole of the human experience certainly lends to more similarities than differences. Keep going, men! Love it!
The quality of this conversation and production is unmatched. I didn’t know who the guest was at first and would have never been exposed to his wisdom if it wasn’t for this podcast. Thanks Chris and Chris!
“You’re stupid, you’re worthless, you’re nothing” damn.. felt that. Definitely need to work on empathy for myself. And how I speak to myself.. felt that 💯
I am currently going through a breakup and have made the promise to myself that I am going to come back better and stronger. These podcasts drastically helped improve my mentality and how I can simply achieve what I want to if I just do it. No excuses. It may not seem like much but I am focusing all of my time on myself; hitting the gym even harder, smashing PR’s, eating more calories, getting more sleep, not focusing on other people’s perception of me. After actually struggling through that I have realised that the breakup was actually a blessing. I haven’t felt this good in a long time and the whole change in mentality is what I believed caused it.
Thank you so much cbum for being vulnerable and expressing your emotions. More men need to do this. And to Chris Williamson, thank you so much for creating one of the greatest and necessary podcasts around. I'm a big advocate of men crying. The world needs more tears. Only then can we begin to heal.
I have now watched this twice back to back... This is the best podcast I have EVER seen. It has so much wisdom, balance, careful delivery, a journey and it was so interesting throughout the entire thing.
Oh now I get why the best docs & interviews feel very different than general YT pods, the quality of this is top notch Chris. Cinematic & crisp af, propa industry leading stuff. Will be feeling the wisDOMS from this one for a while.
The set is so beautiful it makes watching this very, very incredible to watch. Not only is the conversation great, but it feels as though the space is respecting the caliber of those talking here. Very cool.
Finally able to finish this in its entirety. Very enjoyable episode and solidifies me as a Cbum fan. Dude is very self aware and humble. Strong role model for our younger folks.
When i first bought it, I didnt care for it much. It sat around unused for a year. Then when I was about to donate it, I gave it another try and now I love it. I try not to keep heavy dumbells around so the kids don’t accidently hurt themselves
I don’t idolize Chris, got to know the man through YT and once I got into bodybuilding. I look at the dude like a big brother, I definitely look up to him. I don’t know why most of the time when I see famous people I still look at them like they’re normal individuals. All the autograph and pictures doesn’t interest me much either. Rather just sit back, listen, and take in information.
That contented confidence you get before a big MW episode, knowing youre in for an epic couple of hours conversation is just 👌 Chris is such a competent host you just know its going to be so slick. Awesome episode. 🚀
Have y’all met before? It seems like y’all are talking to a friend and not interviewing a legend in the making. Especially with how open CBum is about not liking public speaking but you’re just getting him to open up.

If you're a young man, watch this. Empathy towards yourself and who you are is the most important thing in this day and age. Thanks for the great podcast. 👊
Chris B is a lot more articulate and interesting than I was expecting (a lot of bodybuilders can be quite one dimensional). Hats off to Chris and Chris for such a great conversation as always.
I’ve been wanting to see a long form interview with C-Bum for a few years now. Great to see it finally come to fruition with such an expert interviewer.
After going through a fitness journey myself this podcast really summed up my past three years. Especially about mindset and enjoying the process of fatloss instead of being frustrated all the time. Great guest Chris, don't stop!
This should be your highest viewed podcast! Love Chris and his honesty, to be one of the biggest names in bodybuilding but to be so authentic and open up is inspirational ❤
I got the chance to meet Chris in person at a supplement store appearance in Canada. He is as nice and kind in person as you see on the camera, just an over all amazing and down to earth guy. A champion through and through. Thanks Modern Wisdom for this gem! This one is gonna go crazy!
I’ve boxed for 11 years and I’m training tryna get back to it I’ve already made accomplishments in boxing but I need to to more and I just relate to his mentality and what he’s saying I’ll try and tell people who I am but to them I’m no one because society isn’t saying I am this is such a beautiful human takes a lot to say how your head is working. How can you lose if your only racing with yourself bro
Really interesting talk, all of it, but especially the section about not wanting to ask for help because you wouldn’t want to be a burden, that hit home… My admiration for Chris B grows every time I hear him talk so openly… Thank you for content Mr Williamson… 🙌🏻
didnt expect to cry watching a podcast of a bodybuilder, his story about how he broke down under all the pressure in front of his girlfriend hit hard, Chris is a version of man we need to look up to
This is more of a Christopher Nolan movie than just a podcast. Spectacular job with the set, the lighting, and just the overall productional value of the episode
This episode is hands down the best podcast episode I've ever seen. Every bit of it and every word resonated with me. I really needed this, and I feel proud to share the beliefs of what was shared in this episode. Thank you CW for being the host you are. Your skill of interviewing is profound. You nailed the questions and created a great dynamic between the two of you. I loved that you shared your own side, and the script was flipped by CB asking you questions as well. It felt like a natural and healthy conversation. CB's wisdom puts me in awe. I'm very similar to him in being introverted, sensitive, emotional. I struggled with that growing up feeling weak compared to society's toxic ideal of what a man "should" be and learning to embrace/accept myself and who I am in my nature. Him embracing it and his internal journey looks a lot like mine (Him having come a lot further), and I hope to be where he is at with himself in the future. Truly thank you for this episode. It made me love myself and the path I'm on that much more, and gave me a lot of pointers towards where/what I want to be as a man and individual.
Chris bumstead is a legend, a role model and just a genuine person. A man who is able to separate himself from what he does and recognize that there is value beyond his purpose. As an athlete myself, seeing someone as well spoken and introspective as Chris is glorious, breaking the stigma and stereotypes of bodybuilders and powerlifters alike. I wish him much ongoing success and thank you Chris for bringing such a phenomenal top production quality podcast to YT, your interviewing skills are second to none. Cheers
Brother, this was a truly inspiring podcast. As a fellow seeker of truth who has been listening to you for some time now and a gym rat who has been following Mr.O on his journey, listening to this was like Christmas morning. You two are what this world needs, what young men need. We need more role models like you two. We need more conversations like this. Keep it up, you don’t know the impact you are having 🙌🏼 “I’ve spent all this time climbing up a ladder, only to realize it was against the wrong wall” pure gold.
This interview needs posted in redpill spaces. I'm so tired of hearing men can't have emotions and nobody wants to help us. My life got so much easier when I started letting other people help me. Especially my significant other. I still want to do it all on my own but I don't fall into ruts knowing I can call on her in the rare times I need it. It has made our relationship stronger and we've accomplished so much more together.
The first half hour is the REALEST I wish everyone in the world was. Vulnerable but STRONG. Know you can get thru things. Know to rise above and know things get better. It’s ok to not be ok. ITS NOT OK to not communicate, it’s NOT OK to dwell and sit alone. There’s no need to. We’re all in this together.
I came back after watching this yesterday for 1:28:50 “the persona is incapable of receiving love, it can only receive praise” - this absolutely shook me into understanding the importance of prioritizing my authentic self. This is an unbelievable interview! I will keep coming back to again and again to challenge my inner voice 🙌🏼💪🏼
This podcast is on a whole new level. Thank you Chris for elevating us and the podcast game ! Love it, so grateful to be confortable and watch this. Just came back from Jiu Jitsu sparring, just chilling with some nice content
Quarter way through this podcast and this is an epic podcast. Loaded with knowledge, experience and level headed expectations. Self Empathy, continuous & iterative improvement, positive outwards to life and so much more. Loving it 🎉
Amazing Watch! True Modern Wisdom right here. The Aura Chris displays is like no other. You can tell he Reflects A LOT about everything, on all levels. It is very...very inspiring. His experience combined with his knowledge is the epitome of Wisdom.
Chris I love your use of parables and quotes throughout your shows. one of my favorite parables is the parable of the chinese farmer. I would love to hear your take on this in one of your shows and I think its one you would enjoy. keep up the great work!
I resonate some ideals with Chris, especially the feeling that "since I am a man, I am not allowed to have emotions". I struggle with this ideology everyday and have had friendships ruined because I lost respect for them when I saw them cry, I am getting better and becoming more zen with these feelings, and it was really eye opening to hear chris speak on this. Thank you
Wow what a podcast, this one truly resonated with me on so many levels...it's 1:17am UK time finishing this and it truly was an honour to watch this so thank you Chris B, I'm sure you're an amazing dad and truly an inspirational role model Thank you! 🫡🥹
Such a powerful episode, just him talking about how it's ok for a man to admit he needs help and comfort, that hit me where it needs too. One of my biggest fears as a father with a young son is that he will grow up not knowing how to handle his emotions. I'm just learning now in my mid 30s how to properly handle things like anxiety, anger, depression, ect and my worst fear is my son going through that same struggle. So for someone at the level of Chris Bumstead who is a picture of super alpha masculinity, hearing him talking about emotions like that is really amazing.
What they say about the standard you set for yourself is so true, man! Once you show you can give 100%, that 100% becomes your base performance. And you can only maintain it or be better. But you have to give 100%, because it is what people will expect. Talking as a musician.
What it takes ? It takes a lot of dedication, a lot of maturity, a lot of character, a lot of consistency , a lot of hard work and also a lot more PEDS than they all claim and admit to! Period.
How has this not received millions of reviews yet? We're talking about one of the most successful guys in the game. Goes to show people support for the clout honestly.
My inner voice during high intensity lifting is written all over my garage wall. Every time I find that voice "in the right place" I write it right on the wall. It has become my gospel. "Crush the doubt" is one such line on my wall
This is unbelievably amazing, both Chris are far really knowledgeable in different areas of life. The way CBum explains his inner voice is something that I learned in the hard way and I try to help people in the way he explains how much that affects you and how to improve
