@@garyroundtree3293she has more knowledge and experience behind her than Trump did when he got elected. And as a Floridian, I wouldn't hesitate to take her over DeSantis. She's not a perfect candidate but she's better qualified than the other (male) options to be the Republican nominee. The last things we should consider in a candidate are their sex or race because capabilities for the job have nothing to do with either.

I love Joy's humour too, I just wish she wouldn't interrupt people who are in the middle of making a point (Sarah does this too). Let the other person finish what they're saying and then make the joke.

I don't agree with Chris Christie on most policies, but respect to him for being principled and being braver than 99.8% of Republicans when calling out Trump. You need people that can call out those on their side, especially when those people are doing wrong and are popular on their side. The fact that he got so little support from Republicans shows the pathetic, awful state the party is in.

He could have went way harder on Trump. It's just that anything outside of a light slap on the wrist looks like hatred of Trump to Republicans. Christie also offered insurance that the party would move away from the craziness and dictatorial tendencies of Trump. And he spoke of polices as well. He was even on The View and mentioned some things.

Because I think in this conversation she was constantly interrupting her. Yes They all do but this convo we are referencing to and it's because Alyssa supports a candidate who sunny completely disagrees with so she is going to go hard on her opinions why she strongly dislikes Haley, she is doesn't understand why and how Alyssa can support her. The same approach to trump but this time the conversation is about Haley.
No Sunny likes to insult people with false generic accusations, like she just did with Alyssa, and when people stop her and clap back. All the sudden she is “getting interrupted”. No ma’am. If you make weird accusations they will be corrected whether you’re still speaking or not. And that’s exactly what Alyssa did.

Never been a fan of Christie, but I give him some respect for at least taking a public stand against the *Orange Thug,* something only a rare few Republicans had the guts to do.

The fights over busing and school integration that led to the creation of whites only private schools in parts of the south Take your pick, that list is long.

It was actually unnecessary. Sarah sometimes behaves like a know it all. Sunny had to struggle to get her point across which is quite annoying. Just let her speak and wait your turn. Quite simple. I’ve seen others at the table get annoyed but they are doing the same thing.

I like Sunny and usually agree with her 100% on the show, but I found her incredibly rude to Alyssa in this segment by talking as if she's never interrupted anyone before. Also, I think that Biden would win against Haley in the general so I'm all for her beating Trump in the primary. As much as I hate Nikki Haley, I hate her way less than I hate Trump.
@rell2972 I don't feel the need to "protect her". And I never have. I just am calling it as I see it in this particular segment where Sunny talked down to her like she's a child, especially because Alyssa is (for the most part) a mature adult who can disagree and make her counter points without being incredibly rude, something that Sunny couldn't seem to do in this segment.
@rell2972i think you have to take a step back and look at the history with how people are quick to come to Sunny’s defense and provide immensely hypocritical and biased takes. It’s okay to call out Sunny’s behavior just as much as people do the other ladies on the view. She’s not exempt.

I actually somewhat agree with Alyssa; while I think Nimarata is a horrific person and candidate and has no chance, I do agree that many Democrats aren’t worried enough about 2024. Unfortunately, Biden isn’t a strong candidate and he’s losing more Dems & swing voters by the day, and will continue to do so as long as he refuses to denounce genocide and take swift action on issues that matter to Gen-Z/progressives.
Alyssa said more people are looking for an alternative candidate against Biden than against tRump. Spoken like a true tRump supporter. I’d rather have a candidate who doesn’t have 19 criminal/civil indictments; and hasn’t said he’d be a dictator on day one.
