i play with chris every sunday.....ima bass player....he can make any1 sound better as long as u follow him......not cocky at all for a organist....real cool dude
For those of you who are hating on these musicians stating ya'll can play better, it's not about who can play better it's all about the anointing and the chemistry these musicians have together. All of them are "IN THE POCKET", and that's what pays these days.
2:26 gets me everytime. hes doing a million other things up above then they pan down to his feet and he is doing a million more other things on each foot. it looks like hes button mashing but EVERYTHING makes perfect sense and sounds amazing.
Every time I see this video, it makes me want to bongo the organ, just like I did yesterday at New Testament MBC"s 66th Church Anniversary. At the end of Service, one of the older mothers of the Church said, "Reverend, you could of at least put the organ back in it's place." I laughed, because I know I had that Hammond dancing... LOL!!! Praise the Lord, all you got!!! Do it Chris!!!
Jesus!! That's intense! Just imagine, we get to praise God all day and night in heaven. Stary humble before the Lord, because the three of you are TRULY God's annoited musicians!
Man this cat came to our church last night (Mt Zion Apostolic in Indianapolis, IN) with Suff. Bis. Stewart and gave our organ a heart attack then brought it back to life!! My God I have never ever heard anyone back up a preacher like that before in my life!!
Oh MY MY MY!!!! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!! THESE YOUNG MEN ARE TRULY TRULY TRULY BLESSED AND TALENTED!!! GOT ME OVER HERE ABOUT TO JUMP OFF THIS COMPUTER AND START SHOUTING FOR REAL!!! PRAISE GOD!!!! HALLELUJAH!!
Go ahead Mr. Chris Edwards. I needed some shouting music to listen to. {Not that I needed any}. This morning in my devotion, I needed it. Thank you Mr. Chris. Thank you for the post Ms. Monica Williamson.
OMG... this is probably one of the best if not the best band I've heard. All 3 musicians played incredibly. I'd pay to come to hear them minister in person.
1:21 / 1:22 ish... They found their groove. As a musician, it's the most satisfying experience you can have- everyone's playing and getting their groove out there in the world then all of a sudden, it snaps and you're playing as one and together, you bring it down. Man, I love that. Great stuff here.
Doc you are BEAST!!! Me being a true bass player, then drums, then keyboards/organ y'all had me playin this back FOREVER so I can lock it down at my church. Thanks for sharing cause I'm gonna go STRAIGHT HAMMM!!!
I don't know Chris at all and never have I met him, but he comes across the uploaded videos as cool and humble. He has all my nephews copying all the saint dances at New Maclin Temple in the D. Oh, how I one day wish to play like him, although I statred out as a string girl. :) Keep Doing yall thang for the Lord.
Man these guys are just straight beasts playing!!! I had to get up and take me a lap around my house, and come back and do a 2 step right quick.LOL they are a anoited
i was at this shed. It was fierce. Chris had us on our feet Doc! This footage is nice but you really had to be there. The modulation at 2:48..... Chris was real cool when I met him. Some guys his caliber tend to put on airs. It was great to meet a COLD humble musician. Big ups Chris. Keep doin yo thang Doc! Stay Blessed!
Off the chain… and that doesn’t even begin to describe it all! Down the rabbit hole, blow by Alice & the White Rabbit before they can even say hi, and on they go! All 3 deserve equal kudos! I’m an organ fan, but gotta give credit to the bass player and drummer as well!
