Chris is $1.5 million in debt. The interest on that alone is enough to make anybody desperate. Doesn’t give his scam artistry and general douchebaggery a pass, but it does explain his apparent lack of standards for what he lends his name, face, and voice to: he is legitimately that desperate.

He got himself into that debt by being a vanity driven individual living way passed his means. Not by footing the bill for some cancer patients. I won’t be shedding any tears for him or cutting him any slack. He easily could have made that money back twice over actually putting effort into his work. You know, just by not being a fly by night salesman to his very core.

Chris's career was created by a tv network. He did everything the network told him to do without question and it usually turned out fine for him. But now hes developed a false sense of trust and is relying on others to carry hes career. He's no longer working with the network so now he's putting that same trust in people like vencint, who unlike the network doesn't have the money and doesn't know what he's doing. That also makes him a huge target for scammers to exploit and take advantage of he's character by becoming that network hes been desperately looking for. I like Chris Hanson but I wish he would grow up and take responsibility and stop relying on others to look things up for him and look thing up for himself. He can't operate on RU-vid with the same rules he used to operate on television. There are other RU-vid channels like predator poachers, Cassady Campbell, and Erik Kanevsky that do the same thing. If Chris was smart, he would link up with these guys and continue creating new entertaining content with them instead of being stuck on the same bs that will never go anywhere

He didn’t track down sources, NBC did. He didn’t investigate anything. What he was was an excellent host. I heard in other videos that it's publicists or other people that run his social media accounts, but then that just raises another issue: if he doesn't run his own social media accounts, then how does he do his investigations online? You have no reason to believe that it's Chris Hansen talking to you or doing any sort of activity on those social media accounts because he's not doing the blocking himself. If that's the case, then where are his "actual" accounts? The ones where he does all the talking and investigating himself?

He used all the hard work other RU-vidrs did, victimized the "victims" and manipulated everyone for his own gains, just like Onision but on a grander scale. This is gonna sound weird, but hear me out. Look at Crestani's face when he says "It starts with knowing who you're working for." And then he goes onto say "Is there a person, I can identify, that is behind this company." It seems to me that he isn't trying to sell some get rich quick scheme, or a scam book. He is there to troll a once well-respected journalist. Look at him. He isn't speaking TO Hansen, he is speaking AT him. He is trolling him, knowing he has tricked Chris Hansen into helping sell a scam. He is saying "Maybe if you looked a little deeper into me, you'd know what's happening."

It’s really a good idea to be skeptical of anyone who wants to become famous by exposing criminals. It’s totally possible to conduct sting operations like these privately without an audience. Chris wanted too much too fast. He could have taken his existing platform and lessons learned from the tragedy that ended his tv series and built a very respectable RU-vid career that also raised awareness around important issues. I think he thought he was deserving of PewdiePie or Jeffree Star level fame and income immediately without paying his RU-vid dues. The decent sponsorships would have come eventually, but he couldn’t wait.
