it's more like 2 vids a week on there, its not dead but just nothing like it used to be. i stopped watching a few months back and now only follow this, the smoking tire, MT and EVO.
Since /Drive went MERCENARY MODE, anything is better than them... And now that Chris is making his independent videos, there's no reason to go back there. We only need Mike Musto to do the same!
Chris could easily charge 4$ a month and I'd pay for it if it meant more videos! The content he makes is so much more emotionally charged and i think everyone agrees that us gear heads connect with him so much more than any other host on drive, or even motor trend. So happy he made his own channel again. Thank you!!
When it comes down to it, regardless of the personalities, the length/frequency of content, the production quality, etc., what /DRIVE lacks is someone who can DRIVE! At the end of the day when I get on RU-vid, I want to watch cool cars being driven at the limit, and that's why I come to this channel.
In case some of you didn't know why he is so familiar with the 997 Cup car is because he's a driver for one of the teams. there was a big and long battle at Le Mans.
Since Top Gear is for literaly everyone it is not really for petrol heads. People like Chris Harris should stay away. Let drivers drive and comedians do the comedy.
It always amazes me what a potent car the 911 is. Even though everything about it is "wrong", you can do so much with it and it never fails to deliver. Racing? No problem. Rallying? There you go. Drifting? Yes, thank you. It's an iconic car. I've been a fan of it since I was a kid and it's still close to my heart. Thank you Mister Chris Harris
That was worth the wait. I may have even cried a little bit. Those were most beautiful sounds a flat 6 Porsche has made in decades. The wail of the engine, the gearbox, the gravel on the chassis...I'll sleep well tonight having see and heard this.
This video shouldn't of ended! The sound of the thing is fantastic. Saw an article on it in evo but watching a video is just 10x better. Another great video Sir Harris, keep it up!
I have to agree with Atomic Punk, give Chris Harris his own show. His videos are the best, and his personality as well as his passion for motorsports is unmatched! Keep the videos coming Chris. We'll keep watching them!👍
Screw Clarkson, Hammond and May, I think you are the best car journalist out there Chris, I love your videos, keep them coming! Btw. Greetings from Germany :)
I'm not sure if I blinked, remembered to breathe or moved. I was so taken by this film, the idea behind the car and the sounds of the engine, gearbox and input/output of the car. Perfect, thanks Chris and co.
This is why I think rally is the best motorsport. It's a precision sport but with a significant mix of grace in it, like fencing combined with ballet, with a handful of childish playing-with-mud mentality sprinkled on top. Also, that three mud-shot in the end there is perfect.
*I am lacking words to express my happiness about this video. What an amazing car and sound and what a big stack of driving skills. Thank you again fro creating this channel and leaving Drive.*
Zero to 100,000 subscribers in a matter of months and well on the way towards a million; a testament to the brilliance of Chris Harris. Keep at it Chris, really appreciate the EPIC content you consistently deliver!
Chris Harris is so talented at making every car review so much more emotional and real. Its hard not to get excited whenever he gets on the wheel. Aside from that is his humbleness knowing he's a race car driver, that to me earns him mad respect. This channel was one of the easiest to subscribe to.
A girl broke my heart today, but now that im watching this I feel a bit better. Thanks for the awesome video's Chris and Neil. You chaps truly are the best at what you do!!
Thanks so much for this, Chris and Neil. What a joy, well done. I had to watch the second half of the video again with my eyes closed. The sound is just something else. Brilliant. To all the people with lots of money and a passion for motorsports: We need more of these cars!
Magical, especially for us who missed the real 911 rally era. Good work Chris and the rest of the crew aswell! This is what I need to see while the cayman is resting for the winter!
Gobsmacked. Amazing car. Another awesome video. Thankyou thankyou thankyou. Only you Chris as an automotive journalist have the gift to get across on film just what it is like to be in the driving seat. Top Gear doesn't come close. Keep it up. We love it
GOD DAMN IT. This is why I happily support Chris on Patreon with my eyes closed! JEEZZZUSSS. Amazing amazing stuff. Thanks again Chris and Co. for your commitment to the viewers and for cranking out quality content.
Jeeze - Chris does give it the full beans. I was watching this video with heart in mouth thinking please don't ditch it. Full credit to him and his rather large and rock solid balls.
As amazing as Chris is at drifting and taking us on a journey with him, whoever was working that drone for the epic shots contributed as big a part of the enjoyment of this video for me! If it wasn't Neil on that drone, his editing is just so synergistic with Chris's style. Absolutely top notch job, the lot of you!
this makes me realize how amazing rally drivers are... chris posted a time in another video where he was only like 3 seconds behind a pro driver in the same car. Yet here it looks like he's actually having to hold back a bit because the car is just a beast. I mean, ya he doesn't want to crash it, but his eyes tell me that he's terrified and exited at the same time. like a kid on a rollercoaster for the first time. 10/10 video guys. well done.
Chris Harris! Your love and passion of unique cars like the Tuthill Porsche is entoxicating. This test is a masterpiece, because it caught you by the heart. Credit to the photographer, and keep your tech talks. We want to know! Well done!
Food for thought.I'd love to hear and see that shape on a wet misty welsh stage, easily the most charismatic of rally cars-an awsome idea.Stunning photography as ever Harris.
Phenomenal - this represents my new #1-I-wish-I-could-drive-that car envy experience. The sequential shifter is so incredibly fast... ohh and the sounds... thank you for this Chris Harris on Cars
Gorgeous cinematography! What a truly fantastic feeling it must be to drive in those conditions. I hope to experience that one day. Just breathe taking.
Harris your driving inspires me, your friend Neil did an amazing job capturing the best drive you have had to date. What images! What sounds! If you guys are a two man team as other videos would suggest, then I salute your skills and work ethic.
Awesome video Chris! Thanks!!! The car is outrageous; the driving is exceptional and the videography just took another major step forward! The shots from the drone with the wind generators in the background are stunningly beautiful. Just wow! Thanks again!!!
and I thought Porsches or Porsche supercup cars sounded great. with the constant blipping of the throttle the thing is an eargasm. ace video Sir Harris.
My jaw is still on the floor, OMG I loved every minute of that, I own a Gt3 Gen2, I couldn't even dream of slinging it around like that, awesome driving Chris, fantastic video.!
Awesome noise! Loving all of the multirotor camera shots, they add some exciting new angles to these videos that keep them looking fresh. Keep it up chaps, more please!
Superb film Chris, congrats to you and your team. Those aerial shots combined with the noise inside the cabin was just viewing bliss. I'm excited to see more!
Wow, just wow! I so want a 911 Rally car now (to be honest, always wanted one since they were racing on the African rallies). And the cinematography is outstanding. I hope Richard will be successful in his venture!
Holy cow! Neil's done a great job here - 8:54 is the best bit of drone footage I've ever seen! The car looks great with the lights. Nice driving, Christopher.
