In 1994 I was 27. The captains promise. The third period hat-trick in a game six. The come from behind win. at the time you knew that what we were witnessing was legendary. It was the only way to bury that God forsaken curse once and forever! Now it’s 2024 and I’m 57 And what Christopher James Krieder accomplished last night is just as legendary as Messier. But in decidedly Krieder fashion. Totally Low-key and unassuming. At this point The parallels to 1994 are too many and too impossible to ignore. In the immortal words of Forest Gump. “..And that’s all I’ll say about that…” Except maybe LGR!!!🚨🚨🚨

In 94 I was in the Army and couldn't make it home for the parade. Since then I never missed a season of watching and going to games. If we can pull it off this year I'll be at that fuckin parade at 06:00!!
