The Mike & the Mad Dog show was a religion for me in the afternoons on my afternoon drive home. Say what you want about either man, they were legendary together, for as long as it lasted.

I’m from the Chicagoland area and I love Russo’s accent.

I am not sure what Mike's solo ratings were after the split. Same for the Dog. I have heard both solo shows and neither show was remotely close to the quality of Mike and The Mad Dog. Mike just grew more arrogant and Dog just grew more manic when they were on their own. Their solo shows were/are middle of the pack whereas the Mike and the Mad Dog was the best sports show I ever heard in any market. I will say, as a regular listener, I agree with Dog that Mike undervalued the Dog. Towards the end it came through with damn near every thing he said to the Dog.

I miss the Mad Dog. Used to listen every day when I could listen to radio at work. So many great shows. Favorite time of year was Super Bowl week. From Chris discussing travel plans to their nightly adventures to the game stuff it was must listen radio.

I want to see Mad dog have a sports conversation with Sour Mad dog

The fact that it took until 2012 to get Howard Stern into the HOF. I would not want to have anything to do with them either. He should have been inducted 10 years earlier.

I thought Mad Dog was in his 70s. It's weird to see a person after only hearing one's voice.
