He’s always been more of a skilled player than Curry overall. I don’t mean to disrespect Curry because he’s the greatest shooter to ever touch a basketball and his driving is elite. But that’s really all he brings. Draymond is and has been their main distributor almost all of Curry’s career. He’s never really had to “run an offense.” He is in constant motion which takes skill for sure, but doesn’t have as much pressure as someone handling the ball. Chris Paul is the best passer in the league and best floor general for over a decade now. His 3 point shot is money, he’s the second best midrange shooter in the game, and he continues to play stellar defense. So yes, from a “complete player” standpoint, I think Paul is superior to Curry.
