@@soullessSiIence ...so why doesn't lebron take a pay cut to get all these good players on his team to beat these teams over the years if money doesn't matter to players that have won?
@@nycjt6267 Tell me this if your in the nba and you can decide to win a chip or provide for your family which are you picking hahaha. He obviously still wants to win a chip but family comes first, he just shouldn't have said it in the interview
Nah man, this felt like the young fella was putting on some banter for the camera, and playing around with CP3 and Taylor. Man probably goes home counting his blessings every day and kissing his elbows just for the opportunity of spending time, learning and playing with CP. If he had been disrespectful I doubt Chris would've taken him around like this
Idk, seems Kobe did just fine nearly getting a threepeat with Gasol. It took KG, Allen, Pierce, Rondo, and a deep bench to take down the Lakers. Who even knows if CP3 would've stayed healthy for 3 title runs.
@@THE_BEAR_JEW who said anything about 3? all they needed was 1. and that's bull and void considering hed have a hell of alot of pressure and load taken off him being with that stacked la team. And he was healthy that entire first year on the Clippers so u could assume hed be the same.
Some people took Chris' answer about winning as if he doesn't want to win. He's simply saying he wouldn't want to jump on a contender's bandwagon for a minimum. He'd rather try to win on his own team.
@@kingbanksss Can't choose between them two lol, both did/are doing great in Houston. Just missing the fact that with CP3 we had the chance to win the championship if it wasn't for his injury. Hopefully with Westbrook we finish the story
@@joangutierrez1777 but u do know westbrook has literally won Houston ball games when harden was playing bad. Cp3 is good but he cant takeover like westbrook can. In the playoffs, Houston gonna need that.
@@kingbanksss mm the first yr Chris Paul came he did that and more, AND in the playoffs (more clutch than harden in the playoffs that first year, especially against the jazz and down the stretch during those close games with the warriors). The second yr he def fell off real hard and only played well in the playoffs during the game they got eliminated unfortunately ... and right now you're right, he can't do anywhere close to what Westbrook is doing for the rockets. Yet he's found a way to still be an all star with his bball iq and game management, which is pretty ridiculous, considering he's an undersized pg who's lost his first step in a league of really good pgs. It's fun watching him work the midrange game. But ya, let's hope westbrook can keep it up in the playoffs as he's been a true superstar/mvp status since the capela trade.
Rockets management is shady. Lie to the man to his face, and do the complete opposite of what they said they wouldn't do. Fans never hear these stories about shady management practices, but get mad at players when they look out for themselves.
Sports Esq. I think they told him he’d stay days before Paul George went to the clippers with Kawahi, not saying it’s an excuse to lie but with that much competition west Morey was entitled too make a blockbuster trade
@@lowkeyrob4140 Management is always entitled to do that, its a business however don't get mad when players look out for themselves and show no loyalty to your organization.
1 of the best pgs this generation yo I don't think Cp3 a bad teammate dude just wanna win and respect him for not dying for a chip family comes 1st I felt that 💯
El-ahrairah I mean with small ball, they have beaten the Lakers, Jazz(twice), Celtics, And they have only lost once with Russ in the small ball lineup. And it was a buzzer beater loss
El-ahrairah I’m more of a bulls fan, but I watch the rockets cuz there the team I’m betting on to come out the west. I’m not saying they will win the championship. What I’m saying is that their ceiling got a lot higher, but their floor got a lot worse. Their offensive rating is actually 1st in the league since they got small, and their defense is 4th.
CPGoat #3 how u a Cp3 fan page and not realize how great he is? He’s one of the best if not the most complete player ever. Him and Bron are 1 and 2. Cp3 brings so much to the game. Only reason he doesn’t get recognized like he should is because of rings.
J Money I realize how great he is but I’m not delusional. If there’s 8 pgs greater all time that already puts him out of the top 40. There’s a lot of more accomplished players than Cp3. He’s top 50 for sure, but he’s nowhere near a top 20. No way in hell. D wade is top 20 and he’s far more accomplished then Cp3. Stockton is too 30 and he is also far away from Chris. That’s just common sense. And the difference between someone with a ring and players with no rings is relatively large. Him not having even a finals appearance and no mvps severely pushes his placement back. It is what it is. U don’t have to cap for him. Top 50 is still great.
Hi, can somebody help? I am CP3 fan but it is kinda hard to understand about `Top black athletes should go to historically black college/universities`. Is there any culture or history thing that i learn about? Or is it hard to understand because my mother language is not english?
The historical black colleges are lit popular to go to amongst athletes because they don’t get the same exposure as the higher institutions like duke, Kansas, etc. The bigger universities are predominantly white so sometimes it makes the college experience uncomfortable for black athletes. The NCCA is notorious for using athletes and spitting them out. People are pushing black athletes to stop going to the big name schools, and going to smaller institutions where they can help build black colleges. They specifically want the bigger names that are gonna go to the nba to bring in more money and awareness to historically black colleges. Imagine if Zion went to a school like Hampton. That would set a huge president for other athletes to follow.
If that 2011 trade for Chris Paul to Lakers happened, definitely Lakers would be contenders in the playoffs, and the following year the Lakers would sign Dwight Howard. The Lakers would be in the NBA Finals no doubt and we would've finally see a Kobe vs LeBron NBA Finals series. And maybe a 6th, 7th Championship for Kobe. RIP Kobe.
Jason Wardell if people hated him so much then why did the players and gms elect him as the nbpa president? Or why did gms and coaches select him over Bradley Beal, Devin booker, and many others as an all star of he's so washed up? You sound really hurt over a 6'0" guy whose making more money than you and is more than likely a lot happier than you
Thunder can thank god they got Chris Paul. This dudes drive is insane. Already has a huge max contract and got traded to a team who's '' rebuilding '' and is a small market. So many people would just wing it yet this guy plays with the energy of a hungry young dude. Such a great role model for those younger players on the OKC roster.
They could've teamed up in Cleveland in 2017. Wade got bought out and signed with them. Irving requested a trade. They could've teamed up altogether but CP3 joined Rockets before Irving requested a trade or I think CP3 would want to be traded to the Cavs instead of Rockets
D. Rose explosiveness Kyrie and AI handling and finishing Curry shooting Westbrook athleticism CP3 passing Lebron IQ and Build DeAron Fox Quickness WHO'S GONNA BEAT THAT PG?
"but we didn't know who was gonna wear #3" Dwyane Wade won a ring in 06. He became a champion WAAAYYY before LeBron did and Chris Paul is STILL ringless. D-Wade would have worn #3.
@@aarondouglas9761 Don't kid yourself, Shaq wasn't the reason why the Heat beat the Mavs in '06. D-Wade carried that Heat team to a championship! His Finals performance was nothing short of legendary!
Funny how all the "bad teammate' narratives follow guys like Chris, Bron, Jimmy, Beverly etc... when they are the sharp, funny and among the most fierce competitors out there. Guys most people would bend over backwards to play with if you truly love the game and want to be great.
Yooo! Paul kept it a hundred. Best player's DON'T guard each other! Real talk...look at the game of basketball. Defense unheard of. It's cool seeing the more chase down blocks, but hey the game has Changed! Shout-out to the old school defense!
