This was my first year really watching CP3 after hearing for years how he was the floor general and point god. And I have to say he was as good as advertised. I personally think hes one of the best point guards in the league.
If hes willing to come off the bench again (hes good enough to start for any team in the nba) i think having him as the back up/2nd point guard for steph is nasty (in a good way)
CP3 fan here. He didn’t ask to be traded here the GSW new GM traded for him (to the people who hated the trade). He helped JK, Podz, TJD, Moody ✔️(leadership) one of the best bench this year. This man who never came off the bench his entire career came off the bench with no issue. GSW had a better road record. Real pro A+
@@daveclark8337 Quit blaming for that loss, unless you blame the situation we were in. We ran into a buzz saw with the Kings. Brown knew our system, and was in charge of our defense. They even stopped our lobs. The motivation was high, due to our elimination of them last year. Keegan Murray scored like he never does.
Chris Paul was a true stand-up guy from the moment he stepped in the door with the Golden State Warriors truly speaking great words to all the youngsters on the team really giving them a breath of inspiration and truly helping them understand that they are leaders as well Chris Paul has really showed the Warriors what a true veteran is all about and he truly get my total respect if I didn't say it no other time before I'll say it now Chris Paul is absolutely a true legend
Solid all year long. He was essentially our Iguodala but PG. could have used more scoring but hes just not that guy anymore. Joined the warriors too late but at least hes not hated by the entire fan base anymore. Most likely ends up as a backup pg for a contender next year
Can't fault CP3 for this season, on court he was our most stabilizing player. Loved how he utilize JK & TJD and really accelerate growth as NBA player. I'd even argue CP3 led bench unit was by far more consistent than the starting unit from a big picture perspective. but at $30+ mil non guaranteed and not making the playoffs hard to see the management bringing him back. Really hated late in the season where they gone away from CP3 & TJD lineups... an important game like yesterday I much rather see TJD come off the bench playing high minutes with someone like CP3 to help navigate him into the game. Having TJD with the starting unit in a elimination game against Sabonis is kind of throwing the kid under the bus as non of the starters are able to assist him and set him up like CP3 does. Really thought Looney or JK should of started last night with TJD on the second unit with heavy minutes.
If this year is to be remembered for anything, let it be the year that Dub Nation discovered how incredible and how generous CP 3 truly is. 👍👏 Grateful to have discovered that this season. Better late than never. 😊👏
Klay has to go or take a paycut which he more than likely won't do, wiggins needs to go to the bench for kuminga, as much as I love him looney isn't doing it for us anymore and draymond might have to go if he continues to be unavailable for us
@@uface1097 I say play these Warriors one more year. What puzzles me is that when one Warriors starts missing they all start missing. I have faith in these Warriors but im with you.
@@andrewg905 he has one of the best winning % in carrier , 15 years he dominated the league and had unlucky in playoffs with injurys. Still he had more highlighted playoffs perfomance than 99.9% of the rest of the nba. 14/14 FG as 36 years old , Game 7 buzzer against tim duncan spurs , he beat the fucking spurs with blake griffin lol) Game 6 against clippers to go to final,. he took booker and ayton to the finals. Stop hate on greatness
Felt Kerr underused him, especially yesterday. 😢 Subbing in BP, a rookie (no matter how well he has been playing and what a revelation he's turned out to be) before CP (Point God, future hall of famer) in a do or die play-in game probably wasn't the best idea. 😢😪
Chris Paul is a Pro's Pro wish we can keep him wish he can stay, we needed more trust from our guys to show up and a 2 year sample size is enough to see which players are.
It’s clear that our young ones really benefitted from CP’s tutelage. CP is usually the first name that popped out of the youngsters’ mouths when they are asked who they learnt the most from.
I gained a huge respect for CP3 and what he did for the bench. He really gave it his best and wish we could've got him a ring. I hope he comes back to help out the next lineup as well
His legacy is going to be the greatest point guard that never won a ring but inspired, impacted, and mentored the most amount of players a player has ever played with.
Thank you Ring Master General you are a class act. Hope to see you back next year. Maybe the sorry league will allow us to play next year. They definitely sabotaged us this year. They think we fans are stupid!!!
For Chris, to see one by one of his contemporaries retiring… Blake Griffin was in Steph’s draft. He was of course the no 1 pick that year. For us, we just need to brace ourselves the next few years when the 35+ generation of stars that we love start to fade and eventually call it a day 😢
Highlight of the season for me was watching CP3's BBIQ every night. Just frustrating he couldn't be used more. The second unit outperformed the starters most nights. In his limited minutes he'd usually bring us back from the abyss and even up the score. He must be brought back but sounds like that will only happen if they can guarantee minutes for him. Steph will need to be off ball more, which will be good for Steph. Make it happen.
pls kep cp3 with gsw. he is an asset. i think by next year, if no major changes are made, the core of the team, with cp3 in it, will completely gel. see you all next season. i still believe. JUST US!!!
CP3 gives energy to the bench players. He mentors the young guys. Sad but Warriors fall short to make him a champion or atleast take him to playoffs. Just wanna ask is this the first time that he missed the play off?
If only Klay couldve been a true leader/vet and came off the bench to start the season. Ive only grown more respect for Chris as a player, even if he's near the end.
Where is Draymond's End of Season Interview or are we going to get his opinion (probably that the season was FUN despite the fact he didn't play in HALF the games and NOT because he was recovering from ACL or something) through his PODCAST?
it's ok if he go we have alot of short pg cury and cp + bp ? mann . BP could play as pg next year and replace cp3 and with cp3 salary let's find a big man who can play aginst davis , joker etc.. and tell wig to work his ass of this summer because he was trash this season
Gsw will need to draft Bronny to bring in another top tier player to really have a chance to get CP his first ring. As it stands doesn't look like gsw is anywhere close to contending
i wasent upset we got CP i was upset what we lost to obtain cp. We lost the dimension of our teams identity. Warriors are supposed to push the tempo, and we were struggling to keep up with the tempo of the league this year. I hope we can draft bronny James and get lebron to sign a one year vet minimum
I love him bro but like we already have very good guards. We could trade him for a big man because we really need a big man right now. Cp3 could go to a team that needs a good guard
Remove Kerr and dunleavy in the organization! GM is useless the whole season and Kerr still living in the past who likes to play small ball in the entire season…
Was it like? is Chris not coming back next season? I hope he is staying. And why do these lazy reporters ask the same damn question when he already answered it once. 🤨
Huge respect to Chris Paul. Played like a champion all season and improved the team in a really positive direction throughout the entire season. Thanks, Chris!!
Now that the season is over, I wouldve kept poole instead. His offense was missed. Cp3 is a liablity on offense. If we traded green instead of poole, the team wouldnt go through all his supensions and the ejections. Draymond's ejections and supenions was one of the reasons why this season was a failure. I would take pooles offense instead of cp3 being worthless on offense and draymond not being able to control his emotions. Not to mention, Wiggins has regressed and will never be the same. Klay will never be the same and he is washed. Stever kerr is a terrible coach and should be fired. Steve kerr is nothing without steph. Steve kerr is exposed when he doesnt have the star powers around him. What a trash coach. Who decides to bench a player when he is hot? That's just stupid coaching
At beginning of the season, you already had an issue and you never fixed it. Now you suffered the consequences. From Golden to Copper State Warriors. Go home Warriors, it’s a wrap!!!
