That sure looks like the hangman's noose to me.

Try making it with bungee cord , the same thickness as the 550 paracord , much better and holds its look and retention better than that 550 paracord . Just a suggestion , awesome video!

can you put a bead in it?

I believe you tie a noose the exact same way.
