Great interview. I have become such a HUGE fan of Chris Shifflet, especially since getting to know his infectious personality thru his Shreadin’ With Shifty show. I still recall watching his MTV rooftop introduction, live on TV, and being so surprised Pat was leaving the band and wondering what the future would hold for the Foo Fighters with Chris. Holy cow, he has been such an awesome contributor and part if their amazing sound. Even after Pat rejoined the band. But this is about his solo stuff, which is also killer music! I love the country edge to some of his stuff. I’ve been a big “alt-country” fan since the early days of bands like Uncle Tupelo. Chris fits so easily into that genre as well as his straight up rock and roll and everything in between. Thank for the interview; great stuff.
