It's hard to believe how many chart topping songs he wrote for other artists before he finally came out of his shell and let people hear his voice. I'm glad his wife was finally able to convince him to step into the limelight for himself!
@AlisonReacts great reaction to a living Legend! He’s 1 in a million! In his own genre! I suggest any song you’ve heard on radio, please react to live performance! Such as performance “Tennessee Whiskey (Austin City Limits)” he’s so much better LIVE! His wife Morgane sings harmonies w/him in it! He writes all his own songs unless an occasional cover (some of which he actually wrote them but other artists recorded them prior to him showing us his amazing voice!) Thanks fren!
So happy you are feelin better. Great reaction. I listen to this one several times a week as well. Love it. Glad you loved it too. Congrats on hitting 14K!
His new song It takes a Woman is gorgeous. He is performing White Horse at this years CMA in a couple of weeks, it’s a real jam, be great to see what he does with it live.
Saw him live in April of 2022 in Lexington, Kentucky. He is from Kentucky and played football in High School. He is a favorite for most Kentuckians. Sheryl Crow and Willie Nelson were also there.
Hi Darlin, Love your honesty on Reacting could you Please React to one of these Clay Walker "FORE SHE WAS MAMA" Video a must, Chuck Wicks "HOLD THAT THOUGHT" Video a must, Luke Bryan "STRIP IT DOWN" Video a must TY
I saw him live in Lexington, Kentucky in April, 2023 at the University Of Kentucky. Also saw some other great artists there that night. Lexington is where Chris was born as was I. He also played high school football in Kentucky. Stapleton is highly revered in Kentucky, but he now lives in Tennessee.
I have been blessed to grow up in Alabama listening to this style of music in bars and churches all my life . I'm so thankful the world is getting exposed to Chris's talents.
I’m a singer but no where near the league that Chris is in. He’s one of the best of conveying emotion, you feel what he feels his emotions are out front. To me that is the essence of a great singer. He’s also a fantastic song writer as well. He’s this generation’s George Jones, the country guy that everyone wishes they could sound like.
Oh 100% he is setting the new standard for what people want in this genre for sure! I’ll have to listen to George Jones sometime for reference but I can still understand what you’re saying haha! I’m a singer too, no confidence though so it prevents me from even learning my own capabilities 😓 Chris is in his own league
You get it. The soul and blues of Bill Withers, the guitar styling and talent of George Benson, the song writing skills of Hank Williams Sr., Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and the rasp and twang of the G.O.A.T of country soul - Chris Stapleton!
Sorry forgot a request. Chris when he was younger "Fool Me Again" Live. Or- Chris with Justin Timberlake LIVE Tennessee Whiskey/Drink You Away CMA Awards 2015
I have purchased all of his CDs to date and, I swear, there is not a bad song on any one of them. Saw him live in Virginia Beach a few years ago and it was memorable, His backup singer and wife, Morgane, got the loudest ovation during the band introductions. Chris keeps her stage front all the time......RIGHT WHERE SHE DESERVES TO BE! Some must-listen suggestions: Either Way/I Was Wrong/ Amanda/Fire Away/ Death Row/ Sometimes I Cry/ Fool Me Again, and Whiskey and You are just a few of his many great songs.Enjoyed your reaction and I just love your accent, TY.
Great reaction. You have a new sub from this one. Now you know why Chris is the President of the PDC ( Panty Dropping Club ). Have you heard any Chris Stapleton and Justin Timberlake performances yet?
He wrote, "Cold". Very talented man, that's for sure. You should listen to his Austin City Limits performance of "Tennessee Whiskey". Another wonderful piece.
I know that one! It’s one of the only songs I’ve let myself listen to of his so I’ve definitely watched that a few times! But I am aaaalways in awe of him so I might have to watch it again on the channel eventually!
I'm a sucker for beautiful women with accents,be they Aussie or British, but you look great in the hat,new subscriber here looking forward to bingeing on your videos!
If you haven’t heard Vince Gill, he’s the only male country singer I rate above Chris Stapleton for vocal ability. I highly recommend any of his songs, but “I Still Believe in You” is probably his biggest hit.
Chris is to Country, as Ren is to Rap!!! (FYI... he does Every genre with Excellence! Recommend: Earned it/Mansworld or I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop covers while busking!)
Awesome performance! I encourage you to check out my current favorite (I listen multiple times a day.) Chris with Justin Timberlake at the 2015 CMA awards. They do Tennessee Whiskey and Drink You Away. Magic!
If you haven’t already done so, react to his live performance of The Star Spangled Banner at the beginning of Super Bowl LVII this past February. It is just as powerful as this one.
🙌❤️🔥 Absolutely, this was 2nd song I heard fr him & this old lady 🫠& instant fan & so glad for reaction vids bc CMA 🎶 is not something I would've paid any attention to💞 & love ur reaction too & new subscriber 🫶
Chris is a rare kinda talent on that his live stuff is always better than the studio version. If you want to see Chris show off that voice then his cover of "Man's World" by James Brown will blow your mind. And "Tennessee Whiskey" live at Austin City Limits is a must because it is a flawless performance. And if you want a truly beautiful love song his newest song "It takes a woman" has some powerful lyrics. Loved your reaction and hope to see you do more Chris soon.
You need to do some reactions to Morgan James. She will completely nuke your mind! I promise you! The Aretha Franklin covers like "There's No Way." "Do Right Woman" duet with Mark Broussard! Come on now! I kid you not! Just saying!
@@buddystewart2020 you mean the real human watching something they haven’t seen prior isn’t real? Thanks for taking the time to scroll down and write this. I appreciate the energy you put into being pessimistic when it would have taken much less energy to just hit ‘back’ or ‘exit’ :)
Listen to his new song white horse. Just did it live at the CMAs. Also a GREAT Compilation from ED Sheeran's Compilation album. "Blow" Sheeran, Stapleton, and Bruno Mars
