Another great request guys. The Stapletons are a beautiful pair. Listen up! And tell us what song to do next! (Oops I said CHRIS Fogerty not John Fogerty!)
She Is His Only Back Up/Harmonizer on every single song that he does. every single song and every single time you see him live in concert that says doing the harmony because when everybody’s like watching her there going oh my God shout out to the woman who is the woman who is that voice it’s Morganne!!!!
My mother was watching Willy Nelson sing "Blue Eyes Shining In The Rain" and for some reason she had never heard him sing before. When he was done she looked at me and said "that booguh can kinda sing" with a big smile and a giggle. I didn't know why she hadn't listened to him when we grew up with her making us sit through "Hee Haw" on Saturday evening. I've known Morgane Stapleton could sing so it's really nice to hear her solo. For some reason this reminded me of my mother that went to sleep in 2017 at 90 1/2 years old. RIP SHOCK G!
She's not singing to impress anyone, she sings for the love of it and that makes her sing with raw emotion and passion that comes out thru her voice...
My favourite thing about them, other than their amazing voices, is how they look at each other on stage. There is so much respect and love for each others talent. It's a true partnership and I love seeing it.
I'm back a year later and your reactions (and Chris Stapleton and Morgane) are better than ever! Please react to Toby Keith I Wanna Talk About Me and Courtesy of The Red White and Blue! You'll get a kick out of it!! ❤
She's really the one responsible for him becoming a solo artist. He used to sing in a band called The Steel drivers. They won 9 or so Grammy's with him as lead. And Morgan told him, this is BS...you are WAY to good to not sing on your own. He was a little scared to branch out in his own, so she said alright then I'll go with you! Lol This song is his favorite that he sings. They sing it at the end of every show 😀
Morgane has voice like old-time country music, which shows up most in her harmonies. Listen to the Carter Family stuff. Originally this kind of music was called “Hillbilly” music, I believe.
I love this song. It's one that I would sing to my grandson every single night before his bed time. Its been 3 yrs since we lost him and the pain never goes away but hearing them just now brought back a bunch of beautiful memories. Thank you again.
Hey guys I really appreciate your takes on all the reviews. Go Steelers. You should try some Tyler Childers. He's a a little more bluegrass than country. Thx again for your reactions.
Chris is singing a tenor harmony on top of what is basically an alto lead, three notes higher. Very popular in country and bluegrass, that "high lonesome sound".
Annie Jacks , saw Emmylou Harris in concert, she sounds like cats in heat. Her voice is grating and she was beyond arrogant. Couldn’t sit through the whole thing, it was assaulting my ears. Morgane can actually sing 💕
@@patriciahulett4411 That's sad. I saw Emmylou in the mid 70's and she sounded like a country angel. Haven't heard her since. She is in her 70's now. I'm sure I don't sing as well now as in my youth either. Morgane has a truly beautiful voice but there was a time when Emmylou shined too.
So glad you reacted to this which I suggested & I'm sure others did too. Listen to everything Chris Stapleton. Go all in. You guys are hooked! Love your reactions.
Bluegrass? The old style from the Appalachian mountains! Like Dolly, Loretta Lynne, Tammy Wynette, and Emily Lou Harris. Morgane has power behind that voice! That's guys!
I just watch this reaction video and I have toagree with you it reminds me of bluegrass from the Appalachian mountains I was born raised in a little coal town called richlands Virginia and it just reminds me of a home when I listen to it..
Most people know the song "Your Man" by Josh Turner from 2005, but not many know it was written by Chris Stapleton. Please react to Chris Stapleton singing "Your Man" from the Bobby Bones Show.
The song itself was my grandmother's favorite song. I'm not sure what version she liked to listen to, because it's been recorded several times by several different artists. Personally, my favorite is the Johnny Cash version.
These two complement each other so well. I got a vibe off this like I get from Alison Krauss & Union Station. Perfect harmonies, and the song is not like every other time I've heard it. What a fantastic rendition. Massive thanks for this one, guys.
Morgane's voice reminds me of Emmylou Harris. The 2 of them together remind me of Kris Kristopherson and Streisand in "A Star is Born"... tellin my age here.
I'm 73 years old and I've been listening that song from many many many of those years. Their spin on this song was really good. I too am fairly new to Chris I can't get enough of him. He's that once in a lifetime Talent.
Voice of an Angel! Musical version of beauty and the beast! Hope at least one of their kids get their talent combined! They both blue me away at their concert. Neither are capable of missing a note!
This “Hillbilly” music became popular during the depression, and made it big on the radio in the 20s and 30s. The movie, “O Brother Where Art Thou” featured this kind of music.
That mountain voice is classic and recognizable. Alison Krauss,Emmylou Harris and June Carter Cash come to mind right off hand. I am not sure where she is from but she sure sounds like the hills of Tennessee. Those Appalachian Mountains have some kind of talent there. Not just the ones that have made it out.
You have to listen to “I was wrong” it’s amazing! 🙌🙌 I promise you’ll love it! Y’all should definitely go see him in concert. It’s hard to take bathroom breaks bc you truly don’t want to miss a thing! Nobody really talks during the shows ALL eyes are on him. I could go on and on... he’s just incredible ❤️🙌
@@comedianstanshelby857, yes - she said in one interview when she was young, perhaps a child, after being on stage she broke out in hives. :-( I can understand, since being in the limelight is hard for many of us, including famous people.
I can't remember if I posted this to you guys before or not: If you love CS, here's an early version almost no one knows about -I love a show called, "Jamin" at Hippy Jacks". I watch it because some of my friends play there. About a month ago I tripped over an episode, that had these guys, (The SteelDrivers) and I thought, hmmmm. that sounds like Chris Stapleton. You know the rest. Here's the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_6Au0xCg3PI.html
That’s not how I remember it from Sunday School. Especially that last verse. Btw I agree with the “throw back voice” She reminds me of Lee Ann Womack’s voice. Listen to Cross Canadian Ragweed ft Lee Ann Womack “Sick and Tired” and I think you’ll hear it. Good stuff fellas This video cut out the last verse. “If you ever leave me, you’ll regret it someday “
Her pitch is flawless. Chris is 100 procent and she is 100 procent. That means they delivered 100 procent better than you would expect. What more can you ask for. A better song maby?
Fool Me Again, Whiskey and You, When the Stars Come Out- Chris Stapleton Rita is Gone, Goodbye Carolina- Marcus King Band I had the pleasure of seeing Chris in concert last month in Bossier City, LA and Marcus King Band was an opening act. Let me tell you, that guy rivals Stevie Ray Vaughn on the guitar and his voice is incredibly soulful. Please check out Marcus King Band!! I love yall's reactions 🙂
Here’s another one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AbbiGgR1IDM.html. Chris Stapleton you should probably leave. I haven’t seen anyone react to this one yet.
Love this, you should check out Little Big Town with Chris and Morgane doing their version of Elvira! I am also going to put my vote in on Fool Me Again. Now for my out of the box request, Marcin Patrzalek - Still D.R.E. Acoustic guitar, you have got to check this guy out, he is fucking amazing!
i'd really like to see you react to his songs Devil named music, Might as well get stoned, Daddy doesn't pray anymore.. and if you can react to Trouble by Ray Lamontagne
