Your trash opinions that you feel comfortable yelling from your high horse aren't necessary. She's talented, hardworking, and funny. THAT'S what this video highlights. Sorry that you're so obsessed with your close-minded opinion of beauty that you can't focus on literally anything else for even just a few minutes. (And if you want to cry "but her HEALTH!"...are you her doctor? No, you're not. So her health is none of your business.) If you ever go up to random strangers and comment on their weight like you do to Chrissy videos (who, by the way, is a stranger to you), I hope eventually someone gives you a wedgie or papercuts the lil skin bits that are in between your fingers. She's beautiful and y'all are mean, entitled brats. Chrissy rules, and she's doing a hell of a lot better at being famous than random internet strangers spewing garbage. :) It's disgusting that you tried to turn a video about someone's art into some kind of health crusade when what you obviously care about, rather than her health, is making sure everyone knows how narrowly you choose to live and think.

Jessica Poteet people are concerned about her and rightfully so. Look how short her arms are. How does she bathe? How does she reach around to wipe after going to the toilet? Frankly, how does she even put on socks and shoes and underwear? If you're making all the money that she is, why wouldn't you put it to good use? Why wouldn't you wanna live your best life and be healthy and free? When you're so obese that you can't even wipe your own ass, I think someone has to step in and tell you that you have a problem. I've somehow missed every actor on that show except for Mandy. I'm stunned by how fantastic they all are, including Chrissy. And the girl that plays her younger self is unbelievable casting.

So many actors die from overdoses, suicide and so on but we're obsessing over Chrissy's lifespan - that's not for us to predict. She's an actor and some storylines call for people who look a certain way. A thinner actor couldn't convey the issues faced by a larger person with the same effect.

The first part we can agree on, but she doesn't have to be morbidly obese (at least by medical definitions) to portray certain roles or reactions. That's a crutch for people to excuse behaviors or addictions. If she's seeking help, I hope she gets it and wins her battle.

Clayton C. I'm not saying carrying that much excess weight is healthy - especially as she gets older. That said, finding success could be a blessing - it opens up doors to specialists, dieticians, trainers etc. and having work in itself keeps you active and motivated. It's a slow process when done without the aid of surgery.

I don’t get all these comments about how she has to be so unhealthy because of her weight however so many actors smoke cigarettes to stay thin and you never hear anyone say oh they are so thin but they have got to be unhealthy because of the cigarettes.

I am _all for_ eating in moderation and healthy exercise, but I _absolutely do not condone_ people who are overweight _always_ getting treated like they're lazy or gluttonous and being _bullied/fearmongered_ into losing weight. I firmly believe weight loss should/has to be the _overweight person's choice,_ and _as long as they have no health problems_ and if they choose to not lose weight _yet do not want to gain massive quantities of weight_ that choice should be respected.

Out of the Top Ten comments on this video, 4 of them express concerns about her health. Here is the thing, however, you have no idea if either woman is "healthy". You see a plus size body and immediately ASSume she's unhealthy. A LOT of women have bigger bodies and are in fact, healthy. They DON'T have diabetes (btw diabetes doesn't care about your size, much like cancer, it goes after ALL body types), they don't have high blood pressure (btw smaller size people CAN have blood pressure issues) and they don't have cholesterol issues. You're making an assumption off of ...what? CAN a person with a plus size body have health-related issues? Absolutely! Can a small stature person have health-related issues? YES, THEY CAN. -- Health risks and issues don't delagate to plus size bodies ONLY. So unless you're going to start going around asking everyone on planet earth if they're body's size, appearance or otherwise has to lead to them having a physical ailment, you need to admit to yourself that a plus size body is the ONLY reason you assume folks are "unhealthy". You then need to ask yourself why a fat HAPPY person is so threatening to you. [[ Also, how sad is it you can't just appreciate her acting skills and the show she contributes to? How sad is it that you must comment on her weight, as if somehow pointing out a physical flaw will somehow motivate her to want what you want for her? Can we not just appreciate her value as she is, JUST as she is? ]]

that's so not true. overweight women are underrepresented on TV and movies and for a hit TV show to feature one is cause for a little celebration. most TV shows feature a cast that is entirely white and have conventionally attractive looks. to put a woman whom a big part of the US population can relate to on TV is quite a big deal.

I know. _Every comment_ on here talks about her size and how she's gonna die if she doesn't lose weight while covering it with being concerned for her health (which _at the very least_ they're _not_ calling her gross or ugly, so that's a _bit of progress)_ I'm _all for_ eating and exercise in moderation, but I _do not condone chastising/bullying people_ because of their size. You _don't know_ their story. (For the record, I'm in the healthy BMI index for my height and age and I primarily work out with running, biking and swimming.) I'm also a firm believer in "Don't dish out what you can't take." You don't want people saying these things to you, _why_ are you saying it to them? I swear, most people grasp at the most _arbitrary and ultimately microscopic_ qualities to feel superior to others be it things like favorite sports teams, getting a pet from a breeder vs a shelter, vegetarian/vegan vs meat-eating, to yes even weight. Besides, we _all die anyway_ do you wanna spend your life _always obsessing_ over calorie counting and completing your exercise goals and having a _panic attack_ over not missing/not finishing it? I _sure as hell_ wouldn't.

qer qrqd 1) are you 3 years old with your comments??? In fact, no, most 3 year olds I know aren't such hideous little shits. 2) I am very overweight connected to a difficult personal history. But I also have a better cholesterol level than most of my skinny friends, my blood pressure is completely normal, my blood sugar is similar to that of a healthy weighted person and I am reasonably fit (I love swimming, hiking & Pilates). I don't smoke or drink in excess. And I still manage to be a decent fucking human being to those around me. If people like you REALLY wanted overweight & obese people to be healthy, you should educate yourself first. No one loses weight and keeps it off because of shame.

I'm not saying this to be mean in anyway, but since starting the show" This is Us" she has put on more weight, and I think the show enables her to do so. now with a pregnancy in her story line, I hope she doesnt use that as a excuse. Yes she is lovely, and pretty, but all that weight its not good for anyone to be carrying around.I first saw her on American Horror Story as the "fat' lady character on Freak show, and she was smaller back then, and this was 3 yrs ago and they asked her to gain more for that character and ended up putting her in a fat suit, to make her even bigger.I only wish her the best, but she cant be happy with all that weight on her, it would be a lie to say so.
