Her story is my story. I've struggled my whole life with my weight too. My parents divorced when i was 3 and i didn't see my dad much and he died when i was 10. My mum remarried and my step dad was abusive. Love you Chrissy

I think it’s really interesting that she can forgive her stepdad who used to hit her while she was growing up, but she doesn’t forgive her bio dad for never being around or attempting a relationship with her till she got famous. Not judging her for it - I just think it’s interesting. I guess if someone is actually trying to have a relationship with you and cares about you, forgiveness is easier.

I was abused by mother's lover she never believed me and even my the school phoned her and told her that I had broken 💔 down in my exams and she said I don't belive her or what she's saying tell her not to come home I'm really mad with her my friends mum took me in for 9 months if not longer... I was abused my 3 other family friends... and I then walked into abusive relationship 🙃. And every time I got myself out of it my mother made me go back ie one day my xs picked my girls up but didn't return them at 4.30 ... I phoned my mum crying she said she had not heard from him but they would be OK with him... I found out later he was sat in her house my mother's home.. I phoned the police they told me to phone my solicitor Monday morning ... by the way he was a policeman...when my mother passed away it was my get 💔 get out of jail free card as buy this time ge had cut me off from anyone in my life ie mum dad sisters friends ... I got a good job and left him ....

I don’t believe in airing a family’s dirty laundry. I am sorry she was treated so poorly and it clearly caused her great pain and affected her weight. I adore her and think she is a great actress. I struggle with my weight too, but being that obese is very unhealthy. I hope she will be ok.

In all honesty, I object to all the woman now who have a public platform revealing ad nauseum their abusive childhoods. Hordes of men, including myself, had abusive childhoods but you never see them using it as an excuse not to tackle life to the best of one's abilities. Seize the moment!
