He likely did text them the next day when he actually had time, but not at midnight when he gets woken up by a text and now has to plan a move Edit: it’s clear this is going over your head, but when you’re an adult you have to go by a schedule. It’s the middle of the night. He now is moving the next day. Saying goodbye takes a back seat to real responsibilities. He literally didn’t have time

He loved our city and people. McCaffrey paid to renovate the home of the grandpa of a friend of mine at work. This wasn’t the only veteran he helped either. Also McCaffrey came to the house to meet everyone as well. Pictures and autographs were just a bonus.

Well, there WAS that Herschel Walker trade waaaay back in the day that made the Cowboys contenders, but this was sort of the same situation. Carolina needed more depth so they traded their star RB for draft capital. Happy for him that he is about to play in the Super Bowl.

I'm a 9er fan too. I dunno what these bums were talking about but his health is now 100% from now on since we won't rely on him for 80% of our offense. He's good for 20 touches 100 yards rushing and 50 yards receiving and 1-2 tds. Easy work. Our run game is favored for RBS that pass catch too. And we got a QB. Purdy is smart and that's what the offense needs. Trey Lance isn't the answer I know that for sure. He's not Keap.

I mean it’s not like you know it’s going to happen until it does. You can be in talks but if there’s no deal you are working up your players for no reason. I mean none of us are in the offices when the talks are happening so we can only guess why they traded cmc and how long they were working on the trade

Son, as a lifer in the 49er Faithful, ill say we couldn't be happier that we got you. And all of Us know that you were a HUGE part of the run we had this year. You are a Champion, just as of yet uncrowned. It was a heart breaking end for sure, but you gave all you had all the way down to the nitty gritty shitty last second. Hopefully we keep you forever and you go in the Hall as a 9er, but as great as our front office and coaching staff is....football is a merciless profession that never asks forgiveness.....or permission. He was one of my favorite college RBs and I said when he got drafted and all those years of frustration and injuries people thought I was crazy when I said give this dude at least a good OL and he’ll ball out. Now he’s with the Niners and he’s balling out. All I got to say is, who’s wrong now.

Nah they were upfront with him. Said they dont want to trade him but would consider all offers. They found an offer they likes and it also helped get onto a playoff team
