Yeah he was probably just an old person and got them as a gift from his grown children (in cash because they didn't want to pay bank fees). I've never seen truly rich Russians just walking around with that amount of cash (and losing them to some street thieves)
Here is some tips from someone who lives in israel: First: put you hands behind your back bc scammers can put things on your hands and sell it for alot of money Number two: If your in tourist places the prices will be over price by ALOT so bring food/drink from home Number 3: Politics are something that make pepole mad is Israel So pepole can judge you for that. The only place there aren't any pickpockets is in heaven. Vatican Square is notorious for pickpockets and there aren't any Jews there!! Vietnam and Laos and Cambodian vacation spots have cutpurses, no Jews there. When Jews were prohibited from venturing near Xtian holy sites, do you think there were no pickpockets!?!? Ha!! of course there were. Xtian pickpockets.
These videos are sort of a double edged sword. They warn fools about how easily they can get scammed and how it's done, but they also show wannabe criminals how to scam anybody who hasn't seen these videos. Ouch.
I watch his india scam one and apparently 1 of the scammer is a famous actor in india and the taxi scam where cameraman was recording the fake tour guide apparently didnt notice him and only notice the hidden camera. I feel like this show is scripted
My Mom here in my country will constantly get her purse opened up in crowded buses and her money stolen, so she bought a purse that had a lock in the zipper. When she got to the market her money was gone. She wondered how was the possible because the lock on the zipper was not broken and you needed a key. Well they slit her purse with a razor blade and stole everything, they are slick.
How do these thieves sleep at night, stealing in a holy city, shame on you!! Don't they know where all thieves end up after they die if they don't confess, asking forgiveness from God, they end up in HELL, tormented forever & ever
I'd say like many people who follow the same or other religions that they are mostly hypocritical regarding their religious beliefs and where they'll end up. They also see it as a flush income.

i also dont see how they help the economy. if anything they worsen the economy cause tourists (who would spend the money anyway) will be less likely to travel with high crime rates and / or buy less in the country due to uncertainties and fear.

The Arabs on top of the Olive mountain are experts. I saw it happen with my friend who was robbed by them exactly the same way showing in this video few years ago.
