She was sick and that song made her cry every single time, this is the perfect example of how amazing this lady is, even when her pitch was bad, she managed to move everyone, her raw emotions surfaced and touched the soul of everyone there, wow, she made me cry, i love her.

This woman is so amazing. Her voice is EVERYTHING. The music industry nowadays sucks and lacks everything Christina has. She has such raw talent and you can hear every emotion when she sings. Truly amazing

This woman deserves all the praise in the world. Her ability to convey real raw human emotions through singing is incredible and rare nowadays. With Sia she co-wrote some of her best and sincere ballads, so unfair that they weren't nominated for GRAMMYs. All I want for her now is to shine again with a record she's preparing for us. When she comes on the stage it's like I watch some old concert where songs and big voices mattered and industry allowed them to express themselves and songs like I Have Nothing or Jesus to a Child were all over the world, on every radio. I think her motives are the same - to make real songs, real music, to be an artist. Hope she will record many many new albums and many new great songs, I'm looking forward to seeing her everywhere again.
I think this song makes her think of her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman, because she cried as she felt this song to the PCA. You deserve the best in life, from business. Lotus should be #1 in the world, but the music industry nowadays sucks. I won't lie, her pitch is all over the place, however I do feel for her :/ She sang all kinds of song for her ex husband, and yet things didn't work out. Listening to her music when they were together she sang about how she's opening herself up to him and whatnot, only to have that end.
I love it in the beginning how she worked to make sure that she sounded just like herself would sound when she was very young singing at the Mickey mouse club, and then as the song goes growing her voice starts to grow along with it. It brought me to tears. She's my all time favorite.

I think in the first minute she sounded a little sick, but that could be her being emotional and connecting with the song. I think once the first chorus kicked in, she sounded great.

I always keep in mind and think that when she sing that, she thinks about her past. but even her dad was most bad to her mom and did violence to her family. even that i think she feel like sorry to her dad, that she must do the decision and choose the way to hate him - instead of love him. cause he gave her the reason. Its a confusion in mind. cause otherside she after many years when she grew up became aduld she is able understand he had maybe a bad childhood and didnt know how to show love. its unaccaptable to do violence to a child to a caring mom ... cause of that...reasons but as beeing a child she may keep the hate him as she of course cant understand. ... that when she sing " sorry " the way she sing fells like expressing her guilt to it. I think in this moment like this song when she sing " how do we say we sorry " she feel the other side the guiltyness that she cant change the fact that forgiving her Dad is feeling like impossible. A very very very touching and rare performance of christina showing her most and harmful innocent side.
What bothers me about this is that she is perfectly capable of singing a song without adding a "rasp" or forcing a lower tone. She is so talented, but as a diehard fan, I also know that she can over-use her ability use raspiness and growling. Soul also comes in extended, beautiful, clear notes. And she can clearly do that if she wants. But more often than not she chooses rasp over clean, clear, extended notes
