Literally every single could be released today and be a chart topper, even in today's trash ass music climate. Maybe even more so because of the edginess, it fits into today's sex obsessed music culture. But in a hilarious turn of events(considering the controversy at the time), it would be tame compared to what's being released in mainstream today.

I'm 35. Listened to this song in my teens. Always in my playlist. Didnt imagine that I would ever relate to it. I was with a man who constantly lied to gain. I pretended that he was a good guy. Had a bad break up a few months ago and he blamed me because he was trying to hustle a single mom for money and he pretended he wasn't doing it bec he said he didnt find the girl attractive. Lol he ate everything he said. I miss him but listening to this makes me remember everything. Christina really is the voice of my generation.

She is truly one of the best voices in the world. She will get older and at some point won’t be able to do these performances but the thing is- she doesn’t need to. As long as she protects and cares for that voice, it’s all she needs. If she was 90 yrs old and overweight and wrinkled, I wouldn’t care if I could just go listen to her sing like she does.
