Listening and watching again in 2024,as in previous years this is a song with a massive hook, a rhythm that grabs, and a video with millisecond critical imagination. Still one of the finest singles and performances of the past years. Exceptional!!!

I saw an interview with her where she discussed her childhood which was not so great. She was "body shamed" and told she wasn't attractive (the French must have a different standard, she looks beautiful to me) and she was tormented for being gay. Out of this crucible of social stupidity came a wonderful talent filled with grace and beauty. Wouldn't it be nice if the world could see that those among us who are "Tilted" are the ones that truly make this world wonderful.

Yes, it would be nice if the world realised that, but the problem is that the majority of the population of this world is either thick or brainwashed or both!...I know it’s a cutting statement to make but it’s factual. We worship money, appearance, looks & superficial qualities far too much. This song means a lot to me, it pulled me out of a dark hole, unfortunately my best friend couldn't say the same. On October 12th 2016 he surrendered to his depression and took his life. This was one of his favorite songs. Which was played at his funeral. I truly want to thank Chris for everything she has done for not only my life but everyone else who truly enjoys her music. This specific song means a lot more to me than ever. And I hope that everyone here continues to support her...

I once was a waitress in this place and a customer told me I look like "the singer from Christine and The queens" when I my hair was a bit shorter and I had no idea who that was so when I go home I looked her up and my God became hooked. Then I got a job working in France (I applied bc of her music haha) and that's where I met my current gf and she was my roommate which is crazy bc we the only gay people in the whole chateau. So thank you Christine and The Queens as you are somewhat responsible for me meeting my soulmate!

I’m doing my share; my best guess is that I have watched this between 400 and 500 times. I’m always fascinated by the fact that I can tell she’s French from the way her mouth is pushed forward-I can’t think of any other language that makes someone’s face look different when they’re just dancing.

This wonderful song helped me heal when I was in hosp for 2 months & had to learn how to walk again--this song made me remember how I have always loved to dance--& the lyrics also gave me hope (I'm in my own place, don't be a downer). Tres belle/beau chanson.

Ines G I listened to it. Except for the lyrics, everything else is exactly the same. I'll deem the lyrics better maybe, but it's pointless for me to listen to the French version as is. Also, I like the English lyrics as well.
