We only saw the bad years aka the Robyn years. I think for many years they were in a decent enuff situation and busy raising kids with him, that makes it hard to leave.
Kody is living in an alternate reality where Robin can never be wrong or somehow influence family dynamics… and that alone explains the demise of the other relationships

In old pictures of Cody you can see real happiness and sweetness that he used to have. He may have found his soulmate in Robin but he did those women he used to have a system of a polygamist marriage with so dirty.
It’s impressive seeing Kody blame Christine, Janelle, Meri, kid A, kid B, etc. & the level of denial that he is the common variable or the actual problem.
None of these women will ever admit that their lifestyle doesn’t work…Meri was the worst allowing her husband to sleep with other women and calling them wives when she was the only legal wife…so no surprise this has happened
You’re entitled to your opinion, however I don’t think it’s fair to view the other wives besides Meri as mistresses. They were part of a faith that allows polygyny and had religious marriage ceremonies that were real to them. The state only recognizing one of those marriages is a legal issue, not a moral one. Christine didn’t even kiss Kody before their marriage. It’s crazy that some people would be more accepting of a side chick than an actual marriage.
It does work only not for this family. It doesn’t mean because it didn’t work for 1 family, it doesn’t work for the whole world. Because many cultures have proven it can work.
A legal marriage provides the women access to the assets THEY HELPED ACQUIRE! Not "his" assets, but their assets. Janelle & Mary & Christine all earned income to pay for those assets.

Meri pulled away from the other wives because she formed a fast relationship with Robyn thinking Kody would love her for it!! Instead he divorced her to marry Robyn and then never touched Meri again!
Dear Kody Brown, You’re reaping what you’ve sown. You didn’t want anything to do with your wives except for Robyn. You’ve treated the others so that they’ve left. Now you’re wondering what went wrong, and blaming them instead of looking in the mirror and saying I did this, I caused this, I own it. If you are the man of God as you proclaim to be, you’d ask for forgiveness for not keeping your as you call covenants with them and move on to your life of monogamy with Robyn. Kody has changed so much. He lies about never being in love with these women. You can see it in the pictures. He is a completely different person than even when the show started. I cant imagine how much the ladies have seen him change since they first met him. He's an old jaded angry man now. (he's not that old but he acts like his life has been SO hard its jaded him like that)
I prefer to sleep with my dog over anyone these days , she stays on her side of the bed, she doesn’t sleazy the covers or try to take my pillows she is very happy with the 2 pillows on her side of the bed her snoring doesn’t keep me awake or wake me up she is a perfect bed partner/roommate 😂💜💜
It is funny how Christine who is now single its advertising for her sister wife to join her and when she will find somebody they might stay single and sad
Janelle is going back to Cody! Cody wasn't attracted to Christian, and he was done with Meri. He was willing to keep Christian around for the money. Janelle and Christian have always wanted Meri out of the family. Christian will not be satisfied until Kody is by himself.
