Wow Christine that is so inspiring! How good to have such support from the paddle board lady! I’m what you call a long hauler and are doing brain retraining and incorporating visualisations as well. Standing on a flat rock looking out at the vista at Yosemite , raising my arms towards the sky, saying “ yeah baby” ( from Mike Myers) which makes me smile ! Keep it all going Christine, many thanks for your uplifting story 🥰
Liz, you are so sweet and incredibly helpful! I want to meet you when I visit Northern California ❤ I love this video with the ocean sound. Thank you both!
I think anything that elevates your mood and connects you with a feeling of vibrance is wonderful. My friend's Spotify channel Happy Chill Fun Time has some great audio visualizations - she does both calming ones and fun ones. The benefit of doing your own visualizations is that it's really what lights you up and you can take the time to go into each of the senses of that dream future experience or past memory. If you can really connect with other visualizations, then that's great. My second bit of advice is also to not bee too hard on yourself if you're coming up with your own. Mine literally started "I'm swimming in a pool and feel the sun on my right arm" (I struggled remembering any past memory and creating new future visualizations) and were simple and got better with time. Sending good vibes!
