Christmas Cake - EASY moist fruit cake! 

Wow, wow, wow 🤩 Nagi, a big thank you from all of our family in Dorset UK. I made this on Christmas Eve, as someone else forgot they were supposed to make one 😂, no names mentioned, but it wasn’t me 😇. What a hit this was, it was so successful that many asked for the recipe, so I gave them your website details. Such a moist and delicious fruit cake and so easy to make. Just tried this and it's really yummy and indeed very moist. As I don't have molasses, I used honey instead and it turned out great!. My cake was ready in 2hrs 15mins though. Thanks for sharing this lovely recipe.

I used 260 gm of brown sugar as I wanted less sweet fruit cake, but it's still too sweet for my liking. Next time I would reduce sugar up to 200gm. The boxed fruit mix, apple juice, honey (I don't have molasses) are already sweet on their own. Unless we put a lot of sour/tart fruits like prune and orange zest or orange peel. On the texture, it is indeed moist and soft. Dense but not hard. Pleasant to eat I baked in 9 inch square pan, and it took only 1 hour 15 minutes to fully bake (I prefer shorter baking time). I increase the oven temperature by 25 degrees F, shorter time when baking in a larger pan

Hello dear 💗 May I ask you if it is possible to devide the batter into two 6 inch cakes tins? As I want to gift them separately... Another question I dont have microwave can I just soak the fruits overnight? Other than this I really want thank you for everything you do... Everything is delicious.
