Welcome to this week's DIY Home decor! This week is a special Christmas DIY Gift idea episode! I will be showing you how to make your very own handmade soap! This is a very easy and inexpensive homemade gift idea that you can make simply by heating glycerin soap blocks and using some coloured dyes to make the soap very festive! Next, I will show you how to make some homemade raspberry jam! Using Certo (Pectin) just following the recipe enclosed in the packet you can make your own jam in minutes and just using some simple glass canning jars from the dollar store you can create a simple Christmas gift made with love to gift! Next, for all those dog lovers! We made homemade dog cookies!!!! Inspired by the boys, we thought given the increased food cost due to inflation this was a very inexpensive way and great gift idea to make. The recipe is listed below. We got 3 paws up!!!

Dog Cookie Recipe:
2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 Cup Toasted Wheat Germ
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
3/4 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter (Only use all natural Peanut Butter with NO sugar substitutes (i.e. xylitol)
1 Large Egg, Room Temperature
2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
Direction:
Preheat Oven to 360 Degrees F. Combine Flour, wheat germ and cinnamon. Stir in remaining ingredients. On a floured surface, roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with a cookie cutter or use the silicone cookie moulds and press into to form the shape.
Place 2 inches apart (If using cookie cutter) on ungreased backing sheets. Bake until bottoms are lightly browned (Tops may crack), 30-35 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
