Willows shopping center Townsville, 3rd December 2022. The Pipes and Drums of the third battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. Songs: Highland Cathedral The Gael Jingle Bells Our Director (3 RAR’s battalion song)
Thanks for all the positive comments from around the world! All these lads are infantrymen and took up Pipes and Drums on the side. Most of them have only been on the instruments a year but have put in an incredible amount of effort this year. I could not be more proud of them. Merry Christmas to all of you, from me and the lads!
That’s brilliant! Keep up the great work, lads! Thank you for your service to your country. My dad was in the U.S. Coast Guard in WWII and served in the European Theater/North Atlantic. After the war, he joined the Suburban Veterans Chorus in Chicago. This group had concerts to raise funds for their buddies injured in the war. (Maybe you guys could put out a tip box when you play, towards a military donation?)
Proud Australian soldiers who spend some of their time serving in ways other than national security. This group is entertaining many during the holiday season. Thank you!!! AND thank you for your service to Australia!
No Matter where you are in the World you will always hear the Pipes and Drums , Brill performance guys , never knew the RAR had a Pipe Band .from a Scot in Glasgow , thoroughly enjoyed the Mob , 1 Piper alone would create a Mob ... Fantastic Job...
I've never been in the armys but the thought of so many strong men keeping me safe is all I needs to have a good sleep at night times xx thank you 4 your cervix
My late father so loved anything to do with pipes. He just could mot get enough of listening to them. When he passed away we had a piper playing at his wake.
What a joy to see this happening. I worked on the initial development of this centre and didn't envisage seeing this all those years later. Well done band memberes. Seasons Greetings to you all.
I get my Scottish from daddy's side of the family. I've always loved the pipes and drums. Well done lads. Merry Christmas from the States! I'm always fascinated by the fact it summer time for y'all, and get to celebrate in shorts and flip-flops. 🇺🇲 🇦🇺 🏴 ❤️ 🎄
What I find so amazing is how so many people just kept walking by! Just how could you not stop to listen to them? I would be so mesorbized that I wouldn't even be able to walk past!
Excellent renditions of two of my favourite pipe tunes made even better by having no brass band accompaniament. Keep it up lads. An old Scotsman from Fife.
Very nice it is hard for me to see and hear Christmas themes watching people in shorts and sandals Ontario Canada is cold and snowy at this time of year
Proud of all our Scottish servicemen. Ad in battle in old days pipers always went in front .of the men even in WW1 the piper went before the men . As they advanced across the battlefields. My married name is Scottish even though my father in law .was born in Newcastle upon Tyne North East of England . His father came down from Scotland early last century to work in the ship yards . He settled in Yorkshire when he married MIL
At first I thought it was the most brilliant stitch up of old mate int he red PJ's. Be juist the kind of prank diggers would pull on the lid in the platoon to leave them standing there all alone😂. I almost broke into a chorus of "We're Blue because We're Blue." Brilliant work Old Faithful. Thanks for everything you do.
Gentlemen, You All did a Fantastic Job, &. there is Nothing better than the Sounds of the Pipes &. Drums.😊 Wishing You All a Happy🎄Christmas &. a Wonderful 2023.🥰
Connor Dawson!! This is great!! There are some seriously strange plaids being exhibited, lol!! Happy Christmas 🎄 💓 💖 from clan Graham in NH, 🇺🇸 Stay safe!@
Very cool. What I really love is kids seeing instruments they might not see and hear. I must have someone in my distant past that played the pipes...stirs something in me.
